As the organizer,administrator and tutor of the class,a head teacher is an important guider and life mentor throughout the growth of students.The work of head teachers in their campus educating activity influences the most on students as not only does it pass on disciplinary knowledge,but also has its functionality of guiding and stimulating students' ideology and morality,and regulating their behaviors,imposing crucial effects on their personality molding.In real-world education,however,the moral education of a head teacher cannot be fulfilled,which goes against the moral development and the over-all growth of students.That how to improve the moral education efficiency of head teachers in elementary school remains one of the significant aspects in pupil's moral education in this new age.First and foremost,this thesis expounds the connotation and specific expression of head teachers work and their moral education efficiency in elementary school.Afterwards,it conducts a questionnaire survey and interview on how the moral education of head teachers in Guangzhou QG Elementary School is implemented.According to the survey,head teachers are deficient in their own quality of moral education and knowledge on the efficiency of moral education during work for which they are less concerned and insufficiently motivated.The evaluation mechanism of naming and enlisting the head teachers,and the training and welfare mechanism for them are incomplete.Moreover,communication between head teachers and students parents are ineffective.All of the above factors result to the following problems that head teachers have on the efficiency of moral education during work.Firstly,the moral education is of a narrow scope with insufficient value guidance.Secondly,with unitary method of moral education,the role that spiritual motivation plays is inadequate.Thirdly,with less participants that receive moral education,the efficiency of code of conduct is weakened.Fourthly,with the philosophy of moral education fallen behind,the efficiency of personality shaping is also weakened.Aiming at the problems above,the author strives to bring forwards tactics to improve the efficiency of moral education ofhead teachers in primary school from the head teachers themselves,primary schools and the family-school collaboration.
