With the continuous development of special education, the physical and mental pressure of special education teachers as the main body of teaching and the negative effects caused by it have gradually been paid attention to by researchers. Some special education teachers are able to make full use of the favorable factors such as internal and environmental factors when facing stressful situations or adversities, and eventually successfully adapt to or achieve positive results, reflecting an important positive psychological quality in the field of positive psychology, that is,resilience.Studying the resilience of special education teachers can not only enrich the research contents in the field of special education teachers’ resilience, but also provide theoretical support for the follow-up research on special education teachers’ resilience and promote their mental health. This research is divided into five parts:The first part is a literature review, which mainly elaborates the background of the research, systematically combs the concept, research progress and theoretical model of psychological resilience, clarifies the relevant research status of teachers or special education teachers at home and abroad, and puts forward research ideas and research significance on the basis of the relative lack of current research. The second part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation and characteristics of special education teachers’ resilience.Use the Chinese Adult Psychological Resilience Scale compiled by Liang Baoyong and Cheng Cheng to investigate the current situation of special education teachers’ resilience from the background information of gender, age, professional title and teaching age,and to analyze and discuss the differences of their characteristics. The third part collects and collates the specific pressure faced by special education teachers and the risk factors and protective factors affecting their resilience by using qualitative and quantitative research methods, focusing on the theoretical model of resilience, through self-compiling open questionnaires and interviewing method, and on the basis of the results, compiles a self-compiled stress source questionnaire for special education teachers and special education teachers’ hearts.External supportive factors questionnaire, internal supportive factors questionnaire and risk factors questionnaire of physical elasticity were used to conduct psychometric analysis of self-designed questionnaires by exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability and validity test using statistical softwareSPSS22.0 and AMOS23.0.In the fourth part, the questionnaire with good reliability and validity was used to correlate and regression analysis with Resilience Scale and each dimension, and the factors that may affect the resilience of special education teachers and each dimension were obtained. The regression path analysis was carried out on the basis of relevant theoretical support. The fifth part, general discussion and conclusion.Firstly, the research status and characteristics of special education teachers’ resilience are analyzed, and the factors affecting their resilience are analyzed from the background information.Secondly,self-compiled questionnaires are analyzed and summarized. Finally, the risk factors and protective factors affecting special education teachers’ resilience are discussed.Through relevant research, this study draws the following conclusions:1.Resilience of special education teachers is above the middle level. There are significant differences in demographic variables such as gender, age, teaching age, professional title and professional background.2.The self-designed stress source questionnaire for special education teachers, external supportive factors questionnaire, internal supportive factors questionnaire and risk factors questionnaire for special education teachers have good reliability and validity, and can be used as an effective tool to measure the influencing factors of special education teachers’ resilience.3.The factors of self-regulation,interpersonal harmony, personal factors and professional sense of mission predicted the resilience of special education teachers and its five factors at different levels;the main factors predicting the resilience of special education teachers in general were self-regulation and interpersonal harmony;the factors of self-regulation,interpersonal harmony, personal factors and professional sense of mission affected in various ways. With the special education teachers’ resilience and its five factors, other factors also have indirect effects on the special education teachers’ resilience with interpersonal harmony or self-regulation as intermediary variables.
