The concept of mathematics core literacy is firstly proposed and defined in the‘Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)',which sets a new vane for mathematics teaching.Mathematical concept class is one of the most important and basic math courses,and it is also the key way to cultivate students' mathematics core literacy.Therefore,based on the teaching of mathematical concept class,how to cultivate students' core literacy is decomposed and analyzed.Literature research method,questionnaire method and case study method are adopted in this paper.Through investigation,students' problems in learning mathematical concepts are discovered,and teachers' confusion of mathematical concept teaching is found.Then some representative cases of mathematical concept teaching are selected,and instructional designs are analyzed in the view of cultivating students' mathematics core literacy,which proves the feasibility and implementation of cultivating students' mathematics core literacy in mathematical concept class.Finally,under the guidance of relevant theories of core literacy,the teaching strategies of mathematical concept are put forward,which provide some references and suggestions for improving students' core literacy in class.
