With the in-depth development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the professional development of rural primary school teachers is progressing in depth.In 2014,the Ministry of Education promulgated the “Excellent Teacher Training Program”,which provided guidance for the construction of general teachers.However,at present,the research on the whole subject of academics in China mainly focuses on the definition of connotation,functional orientation,necessity,training mode,curriculum setting,etc.There are few studies on professional development.Based on this,the author started from the five dimensions of basic situation,professional belief,professional knowledge,professional ability and professional development conditions to conduct a survey of 134 elementary school teachers in rural areas in 12 provinces of H province,and compiled an interview form.The principals of some schools and general teachers conducted interviews,sorted out the collected data,analyzed the professional development of the general education teachers in rural primary schools in 12 districts of H province,and analyzed the existing difficulties and causes,and proposed them in a targeted manner.To solve the problem of the professional development of the general education teachers in rural primary schools.Specifically,this paper consists of six major parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes research background,reasons for selecting topics,research ideas and methods,innovations,and definition of core concepts.The second part is the research value,investigation design and implementation of the professional development of general teachers.It mainly includes the research value,survey design and investigation implementation of the general teachers.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the professional development of the general education teachers in rural primary schools.The author mainly uses questionnaires and interviews to understand the basic situation of general education teachers in rural primary schools in 12 districts of H province,such as imbalance between male and female,increasing aging,low general titles,unevenacademic qualifications,and heavy work tasks.There are four problems in the professional development of rural primary school teachers: first,weak professional awareness and low work enthusiasm;second,insufficient knowledge reserves and low teaching level;third,lack of teaching ability and quality of teaching Poor;fourth,there is a shortage of education funds,and the time and space conditions are generally limited.The fourth part is the analysis and suggestion of the professional development of the general education teachers in rural primary schools.Through analysis,the author finds that there are two major factors affecting the professional development of rural primary school teachers,namely external factors and internal factors.Internal factors are mainly due to lack of professional identity and self-learning;external factors are mainly due to lack of school management system and insufficient government support.In this regard,the author puts forward some suggestions to solve the problems existing in the professional development of rural primary school teachers:one is to enhance the sense of professional identity and enhance the awareness of professional development;the second is to establish the concept of lifelong learning and strive to improve teaching ability;the third is to create Study the community and enhance the ability of "corpsry-style operations";Fourth,increase government support and set up special expenditures for general-purpose teachers.The fifth part is the conclusion.It mainly includes research results,deficiencies and prospects.
