In the past 20 years since the full-time compulsory education science(grade 3-6)curriculum standard(Experimental Draft)was promulgated in 2001,experts and scholars in the field of science education in China have been exploring ways to improve the quality of science education in primary schools.In 2011,the Ministry of Education changed the name of "Full-time Compulsory Education Science(Grade 3-6)Curriculum Standard(Experimental Draft)" to "Full-time Compulsory Education Science(Grade 3-6)Curriculum Standard(Revised Draft)"(hereinafter referred to as the 11 edition curriculum standard),which remains the original content.This edition of the standard has been used as a guiding document for the teaching of Science in primary schools until 2017.On February6,2017,the Ministry of Education issued the latest Science Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education in Primary Schools(hereinafter referred to as the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard),which was formally implemented in September 2017.Based on this background,this study uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire,interview and observation to investigate the current situation of primary school science teaching in Shenyang S Primary School,to understand the implementation of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard in primary school S and the advantages and problems of primary school S in science teaching,and to put forward specific and feasible suggestions for Science Teaching in primary schools.This paper makes a detailed analysis of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standards,including the changes of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standards compared with the11 edition of the curriculum standards and the new ideas of science education embodied in the 17 edition of the new curriculum standards.On this basis,based on the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard,this paper presents the investigation results and analysis of the current situation of science teaching in S primary school from the four aspects of education authorities,schools,teachers and students,and emphatically introduces the teaching characteristics of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard concept in S primary school in Science teaching.Subsequently,according to the analysis of the survey results,this paper puts forward the problems existing in the teaching process of S primary school science course under the background of the promulgation of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard,and analyses the causes of these problems.Based on the contents of the 17 edition of the new curriculum standard and the problems existing in the teaching process of Science in S primary school,this paper puts forward some concrete suggestions on the teaching of Science in primary school from the four aspects of education authorities,schools,science teachers and parents.Under the background of the promulgation of 17 edition of the new curriculum standard,taking Shenyang S Primary School as an example,this paper makes an in-depth investigation and Study on its current situation of science teaching,and analyses the advantages and problems of S Primary School in science teaching,with a view to providing valuable reference for other primary schools to implement 17 edition of the new curriculum standard and improve the quality of science teaching.
