With the continuous deepening of the reform of high school curriculum,history education has received more and more attention.As an important medium for transmitting knowledge to students,textbooks need to be explained in detail in terms of its style,structure,content selection and application in the classroom to ensure its full play in teaching.As a recognized education power,the United States has always adhered to more advanced educational concepts and teaching methods,and applied these concepts and methods scientifically in the preparation of textbooks.This is worth learning from..This article analyzes the specific historical events of the “Industrial revolution” which has a significant role in promoting the development of the world economy.It is a small comparison and compares the Chinese Yuelu version with the American McGraw-Hill edition textbook.Exploring the differences in the writing of the two editions of the textbooks,understanding the reasons behind the differences,applying the advantages to the history teaching classroom in middle school,and hope to improve the history teaching process in high school in China.This paper is mainly composed of three parts:The first part is the introduction part.It briefly introduces the purpose and significance of the research in this paper.It introduces the analysis of the current situation of such researches by many scholars at home and abroad,and gives a general introduction to the design ideas of this paper.Secondly,in the main body,through the analysis and comparison of the same points and different points in the second chapter of the history textbooks of China and the United States,explore the gains and losses,understand the writing ideas and design concepts of the two editions of textbooks,learn from each other,learn from each other's strengths.The third chapter compares the content of “Industrial Revolution”in Yuelu version and McGraw-Hill edition textbook,and carefully analyzes the sequence of textbook,text system and auxiliary system,and strives to expand the research perspective of textbook from partial analysis to The overall cognition adds to the comparative study of textbooks.The fourth chapter analyzes the textbooks of China and the United States in the previous article,recognizes the importance of teaching materials to the classroom,and combines the teaching content with the classroom practice to the high school Yuelu version compulsory II,Lesson 9,“Change the world's Industrial Revolution.”For example,design a historical teaching piece that conforms to Chinese academic conditions,and strive to achieve breakthroughs in practical applications and establish an innovative and efficient history classroom.Finally,the full text is summarized in the conclusion section and the shortcomings are pointed out.
