Since the Ministry of Education promulgated the Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)in 2001 to carry out the new curriculum reform,primary school science curriculum has played an important role in the cultivation of students' scientific literacy after more than ten years of implementation and development.However,there are still many problems in the implementation of science curriculum in primary schools.In order to further strengthen the development of science education in primary schools,in February 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the Compulsory Education Science Curriculum Standard for Primary Schools,which provides objectives,concepts and implementation suggestions for the implementation of science curriculum in primary schools,and has adjusted the content of science curriculum in primary schools,requiring that science curriculum in primary schools be started from the first grade.In this study,a minority areas that is K city,which is taken as an example,and quantitative research and qualitative research were combined using literature,questionnaire,interview and other research methods to explore the implementation status,existing problems and causes of K city's primary school science curriculum,and put forward countermeasures accordingly.General speaking:The research focuses on the specific implementation of science curriculum in K city primary schools from four aspects: the resource conditions and organization and management of curriculum implementation,the level of science curriculum teachers,the current situation of teachers' teaching and the learning situation of students.Through the investigation and interview of 480 students and 15 teachers from four primary schools in K city,the main problems in the implementation of science curriculum in primary schools in K city are as follows: first,there are some problems in the organization and management of science curriculum,such as insufficient allocation of curriculum facilities and activity funds,and the failure to implement the curriculum implementation plan.Second,in terms of the level of teachers in science courses,there are problems such as complicated professional structure of teachers,low educational ability,insufficient coverage of teacher training and insufficient understanding of the new curriculum standard.Third,there are some problems in the concrete teaching implementation of teachers,such as insufficient attention to students,single teaching method,less experiments,insufficient utilization of resources,single teaching evaluation method and subject,etc.Fourth,there are some problems in students' learning,such as low interest in learning,insufficient attention to science courses,and poor learning habits.The above problems are mainly caused by the lack of full-time science teachers,the imperfect evaluation system of science courses,the poor decision-making ability of teachers' courses,and the low level of teachers' professional quality and basic knowledge.According to this,the study puts forward the following countermeasures: First,establish a long-term mechanism to ensure the implementation of the curriculum;The second is to hire more full-time science teachers to improve their professional qualities.The third is to improve the in-service teaching level of teachers.Fourth,enhance students' interest in learning and form good learning habits.
