| Under the background of today’s education reform,teachers are not only the practitioners of school reform,but also the leaders of reform.Compared with the team development mode characterized by cooperation,the professional development of teacher leadership is a new breakthrough in the theory of teacher group professional development.Teacher leadership endows teachers with a sense of responsibility and mission in the teaching reform as professionals.The development of teacher leadership injects a driving force for the sustainable development of teamwork.The process of each teacher growing into a leader is also the process of his professional development.This study takes the junior middle school teachers in three middle schools in C city as the research object.Through questionnaire survey and interview,it conducts an in-depth investigation on the main problems existing in the perspective,influence,determination,control and charisma of junior middle school teachers and the causes of these problems.It is found that the current leadership of junior middle school teachers lacks the foresight of sustainable development.The teacher’s influence is insufficient,mainly lacks to the student development motive and the demand understanding,lacks the student management skill;Junior middle school teachers lack of decision-making risk prevention and interpersonal relationship maintenance measures;Junior middle school teachers lack charisma,educational ideals and ideas,passion and challenges.The survey found that teachers have ideological barriers to "leadership",that managers have weak awareness of democratic management,that teachers are not highly professional,that the school’s cultural atmosphere is not strong,and that teachers lack the guarantee measures to develop leadership.In view of the main problems and reasons of teacher leadership,it is necessary to improve teachers’ leadership awareness,build a school culture of democratic participation,strengthen teacher leadership training,and build a platform for sustainable development,so as to promote the development of junior middle school teacher leadership. |
