According to the exuamination results of the new college entrance examination in Shanghai and Zhejiang,candidates who choose physics are not in the majority.This shows that for various reasons,high school students generally believe that high school physics is more difficult to learn,and the score is lower in college entrance examinations.It can be seen that most high school students have weak physical problem-solving ability.This paper focuses on the application of physical images teaching to improve students'ability to solve problems.First of all,this paper summarizes some related researches on the physical images and physical problem solving in the introduction,then I introduced related concepts.Among them,there are different opinions about the concept of physical images,and I put forward the understanding of it after synthesizing the opinions of various scholars.In the first chapter of the text,I have analyzed the theoretical support of the physical images teaching from the three aspects:the left and right brain division theory,the constructivism theory,and the cognitive psychology.In Chapter two,I elaborated on the role of image teaching in students' learning physics from three aspects,and further clarified that the application of physical images is indeed conducive to students'ability to solve problems.About high school students'image literacy and the difficulties in solving physical problems,I investigated in a high school in Jinjiang city,Fujian province,and in the third chapter,the survey results are analyzed statistically.It is found that teachers do not attach importance to the cultivation of students'image literacy and the students'physical image literacy needs to be improved.Chapter four analyzes the two aspects of cultivating students'image literacy and applying physical images to solve problems,and explains how to implement it in specific teaching through specific teaching design and example analysis.Finally,in the fifth chapter,I made a summary of this research,analyzed the deficiencies and made a prospect.
