Mathematical operation ability is not only deemed as the most fundamental capacity of primary mathematics,but also one of the most critical factors that affects students'academic performance in mathematics study.Through carefully investigating the status quo of the development of pupils' mathematics operation ability and elaborating on the causes that result in poor-developed elementary mathematical operation ability by using quantitative analysis method,this paper summarizes main factors that impede the progress of elementary mathematical operation ability and,therefore,puts forward effective teaching strategies aiming at accelerating the process of elementary mathematical operation ability.Meanwhile,through combining the theories,practice and findings of celebrated experts in this field with primary mathematics teaching experience and exploration of the author,this paper targets at shedding some light on mathematics teaching and student's mathematics study in elementary schools,In the later stage of teaching practice,the mathematics ability of primary school students is improved.Based upon introducing the research background,goal and definitions of relevant concepts,the second chapter thoroughly reviews the status quo of the research on elementary students'mathematical operation capability at home and abroad.Furthermore,in chapter three,this paper proceeds with the test and end-point analysis of the mathematical operation ability.And thus,from the perspective of environmental factors of mathematics teaching,psychological factors of mathematics learning,mathematics cognitive structure factors,and restricting factors of the mode of thinking,consequently,the fourth chapter mainly aims at interpreting the test results and interviews of teachers and students for the purpose of analyzing the causes of poor primary mathematical operation ability.In light of the previous four chapters,via drawing on past experience and achievements of previous studies,this paper conscientiously puts forward five teaching strategies so as to improve pupils' mathematical operation ability.First and second,lay emphasis on teaching strategies of fostering the sound habit of fundamental calculating;third,highlight teaching strategies of the algorithm cultivation;fourth,pay attention to teaching strategies for the nurturing of computational estimation competence;and fifth,give prominence to teaching strategies of mathematical interest cultivation.Last but not least,this paper summarizes the research of this dissertation by looking into the future,and hence brings forth the deficiency and underlying issues of the research.
