With the rise of STEAM education and the Creator Movement in foreign countries, more and more scholars have explored how STEAM education can be applied to domestic education and actively explored this way of interdisciplinary integration. The course of 3D printing is developed not only as a comprehensive practical activity course, but also as an optional course of information technology education in primary schools. However, due to the late start of Creator Course and STEAM education in China, there are still many problems in the development of 3D printing course and the process of education. The most important problem is the systematic and effective 3D printing course resources. In view of this situation, this paper integrates the curricula of various subjects in primary schools with 3D printing courses, and independently compiles school-based textbooks for 3D printing. At the same time, the basic curricula of 3D printing in primary schools are designed and studied by using literature research method, questionnaire survey method, interview method and action research method. This research is divided into six parts, including research overview, theoretical basis, research methods, teaching analysis,school-based curriculum design,school-based curriculum implementation and effect evaluation, and summary, etc. The specific process and content of school-based curriculum development for 3D printing in primary schools are elaborated.Chapter 1,Introduction.The background, content, process and method of 3D printing research, research status at home and abroad and the overall framework of the paper are comprehensively expounded.Chapter 2: Definition of relevant concepts and theoretical basis. This paper expounds that the research is based on the corresponding theoretical basis, rigorous and reliable, which includes constructivism theory, learning by doing, cognitive theory,project-based learning.Chapter 3,teaching analysis. Before school-based curriculum development, feasibility analysis is needed, including teaching analysis, teaching object analysis, design and analysis of teaching strategies, selection and application of teaching tools, and interdisciplinary integration.Chapter 4: School-based curriculum design. This content mainly includes the development of curriculum system, the determination of curriculum objectives, the design of teaching content and teaching methods.Based on students' previous knowledge and experience and cognitive characteristics, the whole school-based course of 3D printing is divided into three stages, namely, skill acquisition stage, imitation practice stage and independent innovation stage.Chapter 5: Curriculum implementation and effect evaluation. This chapter elaborates the classroom teaching process, teaching reflection in the implementation stage of school-based course of 3D printing, and systematically analyses the experimental data measured by using the evaluation scale.According to the data of the practice stage, the students' self-rating scale and curriculum scale are used to measure the data.It is found that 3D printing can improve the students' ability of cooperation, communication, design and creativity, and can better achieve the curriculum objectives.Chapter 6: Summary and Prospect. This chapter summarizes the design and implementation of school-based curriculum development for 3D printing, analyses the advantages and disadvantages of this paper, and further prospects that school-based curriculum development for 3D printing will become more mature and systematic norms. In this paper,STEAM education concept is used to guide the integration of three-dimensional printing curriculum, design and practice to explore the basic curriculum resources of 16-hour primary school three-dimensional printing, and to provide teaching reference courses for the basic education schools which carry out the interest courses of Creator Education.
