A Research On The Motivations And Factors For Studying Abroad Of Senior High School Students Of Jiangsu Province

After more than 30 years of reform and opening-up,the cause for studying abroad of China has been made steady progress.Along with the deepening development of economic globalization and educational internationalization,today,the cause for studying abroad of China has already entered an accelerating track of fast development.Especially in the last decade,the total number of government sponsored as well as self-funded study abroad has been growing rapidly with a rate of more than 18%annually.China,has already become the world's largest international students sending country at present.With the continuous development of China's cause for studying abroad,the extension of the concept of education internationalization has also been quietly expanding:Compare with the previous concept of educational internationalization mainly refers to the internationalization of higher education,in recent years,the number of studying abroad for middle school students,particularly the senior high school students has been increasing greatly year after year.Taking a broad view to the whole country,in the developed regions of the country,the upsurges of studying abroad for middle school students,especially high school students has been appeared in secession.The phenomenon for the tendency of studying abroad in comparatively younger age among senior high school students became more and more noticeable.As an advanced coastal province in education and economic development of China,the depth and breadth of internationalization of education of Jiangsu province has always ranked in the forefront of the whole country.The study will based on the above research background,with the combination of the methods of literature research,empirical research and data analysis,take the senior high school students of Jiangsu province as the research object,using the manners of online questionnaire and field investigation to collect relevant data and information of the willingness and motivations of studying abroad of the high school students in Jiangsu province;by using SPSS statistical software for data analysis and combine the relevant theory of public management,human resource management,administrative and educational management etc.To do sampling and investigation work by focusing on the development status of regional economy as well as the history and current situation of studying abroad for the high school students of Jiangsu province.Meanwhile,combing with the statistical methods as Chi-square analysis,Logistic analysis of the samples data to explore the deep motivations and provide a further clarification of the influence factors of the willingness and choicies of high school students in Jiangsu provice,such as economy development,individual and family,education and society and so on.Rely upon the above aspects,based on analyzing the data as well as comparing to the characteristics of Jiangsu regional students of the sample data,together with the comprehensive analysis for the distribution number,studying background,demand characteristics and so on,to reveal the rules and provide the practical strategies and suggestions of studying broad which will meet the actual needs for the senior high school students in different regions of Jiangsu province.
