In recent years,the Internet term "fan girls" no longer only exists in the "subcultural carnival" between social media users,but is accepted by the mainstream culture and appears in the reports of major media."Fan girls" is a nickname for a woman fan,who is keen on chasing stars.In the past year or two,fans have moved from entertainment to sports,and star athletes like Zhang Jike,Sun Yang and Ning Zetao all have their own support groups.As a kind of phenomenal fans,sports "fan girls" are not only consumers of sports culture,but also important perspectives and contents of media reports and information dissemination.What kind of people sports "fan girls" are,why there is the phenomenon,and how we should evaluate this phenomenon are the three core issues of this paper.This study adopts the methods of documentary to comb the phenomenon and connotation of the Chinese fans.In the form of case study,by issuing directional questionnaire to Sun Yang's fan girls,combination with network virtual ethnography and offline in-depth interviews,I'd like to explore the evolution and its reasons of sports culture in our country under the perspective of media culture,through those fan girls' daily life and mental activities.It is founded that the main group of Sun Yang's fan girls is college students,the white-collar workers are the most crazy fans,who participates in the highest proportion of star backup.The process of their star-chasing is to constantly create meaning and pleasure from the idol text.There exists sports "fan girls" phenomenon,because of the current media environment and cultural backgrounds,mainly reflected in the following five aspects: entertaining expansion of public participation under the era of media surplus,the ascension of media literacy with "net era" audience,enhancement of the female consciousness under the consumption culture,the prevalence of physical culture and the penetration of culture layers.It should be noted that the phenomenon of sports "fan girls" brings stadium revenue,enriches the sports scene,and is conducive to sports communication and the development of sports industry,at the same time it exists the risk of making sports excessively entertaining.In the individual person of "fan girls",sports idols will absolutely give them positive guidance.
