| The development of modern women’s education has spawned women’s sports.Since the Republic of China,with the constant changes of the times and the educational environment,coupled with the introduction of foreign sports education thoughts,its academic system and curriculum standards are constantly changing.The Sports Department,from the beginning of the "Zizi ugly school system",is based on the concept of gender differences between the two sexes,is treated differently.Later,along with the introduction of naturalistic thoughts and the development of the equal rights movement for men and women,sports as a part of the gender equality education,and characterized by physical activity,was also given attention from the perspective of respecting women.Not only do many sports scholars explore this issue with the consideration of gender differences in mind and body,but the education authorities have revised the standards of physical education curriculum three times and given more distinctions to the gender education in schools.Therefore,it can be said that "the school’s gender education in the Republic of China" is an important part of the implementation of the equal rights of men and women,and it is completely in accordance with the differences between the two bodies.However,the school’s gender-based physical education teaching based on "physical and mental differences" has become a major feature ofschool physical education in the Republic of China.At present,there is relatively little research on it.However,this also constitutes the significance of this study.The research methods in this paper mainly use the literature data method,the historical research method and the logic analysis method.On the long axis of time,the period of the Republic of China is divided into two stages—the period of the Beiyang government and the period of the National Government.Firstly,it traces the historical background of the school’s gender teaching in the Republic of China,and then analyzes the reasons for the differences in the teaching of gender sports.Finally,it points to the differences between the educational system,the physical education curriculum standards and the sports scholars’ speeches.Conduct research to find out the differences between the physical education textbooks,physical education teaching modes,physical education teaching content,and sports assessment standards.Research indicates:The differences between the two schools of physical education in the Republic of China have always existed,and they have received more and more attention.Although during the period of the Beiyang government,due to the influence of military nationalism and the martial arts trend,the gender differences in physical education were not significant,but the authorities still made special provisions for women from military operations,and made a distinction in the length of physicaleducation..Since the May Fourth Movement,with the development of the gender equality movement,the attention of women’s sports has become more heated than ever.In addition to the gender curriculum differences in sports curriculum standards,the content of physical education textbooks,physical education teaching models,sports assessment standards and other aspects of the differentiated provisions,but also for the particularity of women has developed a five-level ability classification method,and developed sports for them On vacation,it is equipped with a female sports instructor.According to the research findings,the root cause of the gender differences in school physical education at that time was the physical and mental differences between the two sexes.The conclusions of the study:First,the issue of gender differences in physical education in schools during the Republic of China began to receive more attention.Second,the formulation of sports laws and curriculum standards during the Republic of China began to reflect the differences between the two sides in terms of both physical and mental aspects.Third,during the period of the Republic of China,relevant sports scholars continued to explore with the "physical and mental differences" between the two sexes.Fourth,during the Republic of China,the school’s gender education began to make special regulations for women’s sports. |
