Comparative study of textbooks is one of the components of educational research.This paper compares the two sets of textbooks currently widely used in China,namely the People's Education Publishing House and the Beijing Normal University Press Junior High School Mathematics Textbook(hereinafter referred to as the People's Education Edition and the Beijing Normal University Edition).To a certain extent,this research supplements an enriches the theory of comparing different versions of textbooks in junior high school mathematics in China,and gives thoughts to the first-line teachers in the classroom to use textbooks for more scientific teaching.It also helps students to better adapt to the version of textbooks they use.Facilitating,it provides a reference for textbook compilers.Guided by the new curriculum standards,this paper uses the literature method,comparative research method,statistical analysis method,etc.,to study the two versions of textbooks,taking the "number and formula" part as an example,in the macro,micro and teaching applicability.Conduct comparative analysis:First,the macro level.1.Writing concepts,the same main performance is to achieve their lifelong development from the students' existing cognitive level;the main performance is the Beijing Normal University version of the student-centered teaching,while the People's Education Edition focuses on the knowledge generation process.2.The teaching concept,the same main performance is to emphasize the learning and solving problems of mathematics thinking methods;the main difference is that the Beijing Normal University Edition attaches importance to the combination of subject knowledge and social real life and its practicability,while the PEP version pays more attention to mathematics culture.,emotions,attitudes and values.3.Content layout,the same main performance is the fractional,secondary root knowledge points in the eighth grade;the main performance is the secondary root,the Beijing Normal University edition is in the eighth grade,and the human education edition is a separate chapter.4.Text features,the same main performance is that the appearance is dominated by black and white,color is supplemented,the main difference is that the number of pages of Beijing Normal University is more detailed,and the people's education version focuses on reflecting the subject basis.Second,the micro level.1.The introduction of knowledge points,the same main performance is that the introduction of problem situations is more;the main manifestation is that the people's education version directly leads to more methods,while the Beijing Normal University version of the problem situation and review introduction methods are more.2.Example,the same main performance is the largest proportion of no background examples;the main difference is that the Beijing Normal University version focuses on numerical operations and simple symbolic operations,and the PEP version pays more attention to complex symbolic operations.3.Exercises,the same main performance is the largest proportion of basic exercises;the main difference is that the total number of exercises in Beijing Normal University is more,and the number of exercises in the PEP version is more.4.Illustrations,the same main performance is the use of colorful and harmonious illustrations;the main difference is that the total number of illustrations of Beijing Normal University is higher.Third,the level of teaching applicability.In the design of the teaching process,the same main performance is the teaching objectives based on the new curriculum standards and their respective versions of textbooks and syllabus;the introduction of knowledge points in teaching is carried out through problem situations.The main difference is the analysis of the textbook content of this lesson.The PEP version says a little more.In terms of teaching difficulties,the knowledge and logic of the description of the PEP is more rigorous,and it is not as easy to understand as the Beijing Normal University edition.
