With the development of the new curriculum reform,in order to promote the all-round development of students,people questioned the traditional teaching and learning methods,and carried out more in-depth reform and exploration.In this process,game-based learning,as a brand-new learning concept and learning method,has quietly risen and gained extensive and sustained attention.The interesting performance of games can improve students’ interest in learning and enhance their learning initiative.Game-based learning can not only enable students to recall the fun of the game,cultivate the subconscious of learning to produce fun,but also enable students to acquire knowledge from it.In addition,it can also improve students’ ability to solve problems and help students to cultivate the sense of teamwork.Making full use of game-based learning in junior high school history teaching can not only improve students’ enthusiasm for history learning,but also help teachers to innovate teaching methods.This paper consists of five parts: The first part is a description of the research background,significance and content of game-based learning.Game-based learning meets the requirements of current quality education,and has a positive impact on junior high school students’ history learning and the teaching of middle school history teachers.The second part points out that the theory of game-based learning conforms to the psychological characteristics of students’ learning.Game-based learning is not only the way of students’ learning,but also the way of teachers’ classroom teaching.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of history teaching in middle schools,which concludes that game-based learning can be applied in history teaching in middle schools.In this paper,game-based learning refers to classroom games.The fourth part is to apply game-based learning to the practice of history learning in junior high school,and to analyze the impact of game-based learning on history teaching in middle school.The fifth part is a summary of the content of this paper.
