As an important cornerstone of civilization,teachers are not only the key of education,but also the fundamental driving force to improve the quality of education.In recent years,the improvements for the quality of education have been constantly required around the world,and people have come to realize that teacher education is the key to ensure the quality of education and teaching.The professional development of teachers and the reform of teacher education have become the focus of attention all over the world.As a country with a high level of education,Canada leads the student performance in international assessment tests.And this excellent academic achievements reflect the success of their teacher education.Therefore,this research takes the Canadian initial teacher education curriculum as the starting point,based on the teacher professional development and the practice orientation,uses the comparative education methodology to carry on the international comparative research.On the one hand,my research enrich domestic study on Canadian initial teacher education and it's curriculum.On the other hand,it provides effective theoretical support and experience for the reform of teacher education curriculum in China.This research uses the methods of literature research,comparative research and history-factor analysis,taking Canada's initial teacher education curriculum as the research object,exploring the evolution of Canada's initial teacher education curriculum from the history and basis of curriculum development,and analyzing Canada's initial teacher education curriculum system from four aspects of curriculum design principles,curriculum objective,curriculum content structure and curriculum implementation.From the typical case of the University of British Columbia,This paper summarizes the characteristics and shortcomings of Canada's initial teacher education curriculum.And according to the advanced experience of Canada's initial teacher education curriculum to put four resolutions: First,to form an open teacher education,which is based on the summary of the characteristics of Canadian initial teacher education curriculum.To supplement for the insufficient of teacher education of non-normal students;The second is to optimize the curriculum structure of initial teacher education.The third is to innovate Curriculum implementation mode and strengthen cooperation among universities,primary and secondary schools.Fourth,integrate educational theory and practice to improve teachers' comprehensive ability.In order to be able to use the other mountain stone,sharpen our own "uncut jade".
