The Study On The Use Of Three-pointers In The 2018 Women’s Basketball World Cup Quarterfinals

With the development of basketball,the athletes’ competitive level is getting higher and higher,and the three-point ball in today’s world basketball games plays an increasingly obvious role in the high score and high efficiency,often becoming the key factor to win the game,and the research on three-point ball will be more comprehensive and in-depth.Through consulting previous studies on three-point ball,it is found that there are few studies on three-point ball in women’s basketball games.In this paper,using the method of literature study,video observation method,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis of women’s basketball team in 2018 World Cup semi-finals team the use of three-point shots in the game,and connecting with the official data as well as to the video game’s repeated viewing,recording and analysis of game 3 in different regions,different ways with the use of indicators such as the case,the following conclusions:1.The higher the average height of the players in the top four teams of the 2018 women’s basketball World Cup,the higher the rank of the teams.The three-point shooting rate of the four teams is better among the teams with tall players,which indicates that the lower-ranked teams tend to use three-point shooting in this women’s basketball game.2.Belgium and Australia ranked fourth and second in the number of 3-pointers used;In the use of quality,the United States women’s basketball team and Spain women’s basketball team is the most effective,the absolute strength of the United States women’s basketball team to ensure the use of three points efficiency,and Spain’s more prudent style also makes its use of three points reasonable and prudent.3.With the advance of each quarter and the increase of game time,the three-point shooting percentage of the top four teams gradually decreases.This has a great deal to do with the decrease of physical strength brought about by the competition intensity.4.The utilization rate of the three-point ball in the top four teams of women’s basketball team is more concentrated in the third area located at the top of the three-point arc with a large amount of activity of the guard.When the women’s basketball team is attacking the three-point ball,the shooting area and the division of positions of the players present unbalanced characteristics,and the whole still tends to the traditional concept of division of positions.5,strong women’s basketball team in the three-point scoring means of utilization,choose the way to catch the ball in place shot the most,hit the efficiency is the best.In the game,the use of fast break,convergence segment of the three points,and the use of efficiency is higher.Four teams use the whole team to actively move together with the peripheral purposeful transfer of the ball,as well as the use of more screen to open up the perimeter teammates,create shooting opportunities;This means that the team members in the indirect ball in the fast stop shooting situation long distance shooting ability is also very important.
