Under the background of the deepening reform of basic education in China in the new era,the problem of "lightening the burden" of new primary school students has been highlighted again.Alleviating the excessive and heavy academic burden of primary school students is not only related to the healthy growth of individual students,but also of great significance to promoting the development of quality education in primary and secondary schools and guiding the whole society to establish the concept of scientific education quality and talent cultivation.The problem of "burden reduction"has not been fundamentally improved for decades.It seems to be an indisputable fact that it is difficult to lighten the burden.However,how hard is it to"lighten the load"?What are the main sticking points?Under the new historical background,what is the way out to"reduce the burden"?The answers to these questions are exactly the purpose and significance of our research.First,students’ academic burden is transferred from school to school.This paper is a special study on the current situation,predicament and countermeasures of primary school students’burden reduction.The research purport is to grasp the characteristics of The Times of reducing the burden,analyze the new development trend of reducing the burden,and seek effective measures to reduce the burden.Through empirical investigation and analysis,the author finds that the current primary school students’burden reduction presents the following three new trends and characteristics.First,students’academic burden is transferred from school to school.Secondly,the content and subject of burden reduction are being transformed from single to diversified.Thirdly,the content and subject of burden reduction are being transformed from single to diversified.In the new era,the dilemma of "burden reduction"is:the implementation of policy distortion,teachers’powerless,parents’"indifference"and mixed public opinion.The reasons for this dilemma are as follows:the dependence on the policy,the absence of the implementation subject and the weakness of the monitoring mechanism.Based on the analysis of the development characteristics,difficulties and causes of primary school students’burden reduction,this paper mainly discusses the ways to improve the effect of primary school students’burden reduction.First of all,it is necessary to recognize and grasp the new characteristics and opportunities of current primary school students’burden reduction.Secondly,we should attach importance to and improve the supervision mechanism of burden reduction.Third,we will establish a school responsibility system for reducing the burden on primary school students.Fourthly,we should give full play to the subjective role of parents in students’education.Finally must strengthen to the elementary student study the burden psychological positive adjustment and control.
