Vector theory has profound mathematical connotation and rich physical background.Vector is not only the research object of algebra,but also the research object of geometry,and it is a bridge between algebra and geometry.Vector is one of the most important and fundamental concepts in modern mathematics.It is the basis for further learning and research on other mathematical problems,and plays an important role in solving practical problems.The vector has been in high school mathematics for years,and what is the learning of vector in high school students?What's the trouble with learning?What problems do teachers have in the teaching process of vector content?These are all worthy of further investigation.Especially with the promulgation of new curriculum standards and the implementation of new curriculum reform,the status and role of vector in high school mathematics curriculum and its value of education need to be discussed again.This paper summarizes the research achievements in vector teaching in recent years through literature review,compares the requirements of new and old standards on vectors,and expounds the value of vectors in new mathematics courses.In order to understand the current teaching situation of plane vector and space vector,the author conducted research on students through test papers and questionnaires,and conducted statistical analysis of the obtained data.It was found that high school students mainly had the following problems in the study of plane vector:1.The concept of plane vector is not clear;2.The operation of flatness vector is not firm;3.The conversion capability of three languages of plane vector is not strong;4.Great interest in vector learning,but poor follow-up learning effect;5.The learning process of vectors is mechanical and relatively passive;6.Weak awareness of vector application.1.Students are more inclined to use the vector method to solve the measurement problem in solid geometry,and to use the synthesis method to solve the proof problem in solid geometry.2.Students'understanding of the difficulty of solid geometry is significantly different before and after learning the space vector;3.Students have a high degree of approval of vector method;4.There is little difference in the accuracy rate of students using the vector method and the synthesis method;5.Students have insufficient understanding of vector method.This paper analyzes the existing problems and discusses the future teaching strategies of vectors-It mainly summarizes the following teaching strategies:1.Read the new standards and accurately grasp the new requirements of the new curriculum standards;2.Strengthen the teaching of vector concepts;3.Mining the essence of vector operation and establishing the operation model;4.Pay attention to the infiltration of thinking methods;5.Emphasize the application value of vectors;6.Create the classroom atmosphere of joint exploration between teachers and students.Finally,some Suggestions for vector textbook compilation are put forward.Hopefully,it can play a guiding role in vector teaching,so as to promote students'understanding of vectors and strengthen the application of vector knowledge.
