Tang Biao was an educator in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.On the basis of summing up the previous teaching theories and combining his own practical experience,especially Chinese teaching experience,Tang Biao left behind the theoretical work "Family School Teaching Method" for later generations.This book has also become the first teaching method book named "Teaching Method" in China.The book expounds the relationship between teaching and learning,and puts forward many valuable ideas and suggestions in literacy,reading and writing teaching.The rich Chinese teaching ideas contained in them have far-reaching guiding significance for modern Chinese teaching.The author hopes that through the study of "Family School Teaching Method",we can draw people's attention and let more people understand this book.At the same time,I hope that some teaching ideas and teaching methods in this book can provide some reference for current Chinese teaching.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.Among them,the body part consists of three chapters.Chapter one gives a brief introduction to the related contents of "Family School Teaching Method".Including Tang Biao's life,the development and dissemination of "Family School Teaching Method" and its main content.This shows that although the book "Family School Teaching Method" has gone through many years,some of its contents are still applicable to contemporary teaching.The second chapter mainly elaborates the Chinese teaching ideas and teaching methods in "Family School Teaching Method",including the teaching ideas of literacy and writing,reading and writing,which is also the key part of this paper.Through the inquiry into the teaching principles and methods in the Family School Teaching Method,this paper points out that a series of practical ideological methods in the teaching of literacy and writing,reading and writing put forward in the book are worth learning and using for reference.On the basis of the second chapter,the third chapter of this paper mainly explores the contemporary value and limitations of "Family School Teaching Method".The contemporary value of "Family School Teaching Method" is mainly reflected in its enlightenment to current Chinese teaching.Firstly,Chinese teaching should pay attention to the relationship between literacy,writing,reading and composition.Literacy and writing teaching are the basis of reading and composition,reading is thebasis of composition,and composition is the deepening of reading.Secondly,in the process of reading teaching,we should stimulate students' interest in reading and let them read and learn on their own initiative.At the same time,we should not neglect the guiding role of teachers in this process.Thirdly,we should pay attention to students' composition practice and revision,and improve their writing ability in composition practice and revision.Fourthly,we should attach importance to the professional quality of Chinese teachers.Teachers play an inestimable role in the teaching process.The development of the times also puts forward higher requirements for teachers' professional quality.In addition,the "Family School Teaching Method" has certain limitations due to the influence of the background of the times,including certain feudal ideology and idealism.Therefore,we should look at the book dialectically.Due to the changes of the times,some ideas and teaching methods in "Family School Teaching Method" can not be applied to modern teaching,but the rationality of which is still worth exploring.The author hopes that through the above discussion,we can correctly look at the ideas and viewpoints in "Family School Teaching Method" and find out the content suitable for contemporary Chinese teaching.
