| Secondary vocational schools are an indispensable part of China’s education system,undertaking the important task of transporting professional applied talents for China’s social and economic development.Under the background of new normal economy,physical fitness has become an indispensable indicator for modern workers.Therefore,the physical and mental health level of secondary vocational school students is not only related to their future employment,but also of great significance to the development of social economy and the improvement of the overall level of labor quality.Sports associations are an important carrier of campus culture construction,but also an important means of moral education in secondary vocational schools,more conducive to the cultivation of students ’life long sports awareness and the promotion of comprehensive quality.Because of this,it is urgent and practical to explore the current situation of sports associations in secondary vocational schools.By using the methods of documentation,investigation and mathematical statistics,this paper makes a thorough and detailed study on the overall situation,membership structure,management organization,funding sources and professional guidance of the development of sports associations in Shandong Provincial Urban Service Technical College.Through the study,the following conclusions are drawn:1.Shandong City Service Technician College currently has 14 sports associations,which are the largest in the school.However,the overall scale is small and the number of members is concentrated in 20-50 people.2.Distribution characteristics of members of sports associations: the proportion of male students is higher than that of female students,mainly sophomores;the motivation of participating in sports associations is mainly physiological needs,and the combination of communication motivation and achievement motivation is diversified;the way of joining sports associations is mainly to accept new ideas and introduce friends.3.The management system of associations is the unified supervision and management of the associations under the College League committees.There are no definite rules within the associations.The number of the managers of associations is generally 2-4.The fund source of the association mainly relies on the funds of theschool,mainly used in the daily activities,training and competitions of the association.4.As long as the organization of community activities relies on spontaneous organization,the content concentrates on the development of related sports activities,sports venues and facilities basically meet the needs,but there is no fixed place arranged by the school,the frequency of community activities tends to be more than twice a week.The sports foundation of the members of the association is weak,and the demand for professional guidance is strong,but the professional guidance teachers are lack,the guidance is insufficient,and the students’ satisfaction is low.5.Lack of funds,insufficient attention of the school,imperfect management system,sports venues and facilities can not support the development of activities,lack of guidance caused by the lack of instructors are the main factors restricting the current sports associations of Shandong Provincial College of Urban Service Technicians. |
