In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,zhejiang has made remarkable progress in preschool education,which now ranks among the top in China.However,from the perspective of the whole education system in zhejiang,there are still many problems in the development of preschool education.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the development process of preschool education in zhejiang during the past 40 years of reform and opening up.On the basis of summarizing experience and finding out existing problems,this paper aims to make up for the shortcomings of preschool education in zhejiang and promote the future development of preschool education in zhejiang and even the reform of preschool education in China.This paper mainly adopts the method of literature review and historical research to sort out the development history of preschool education in zhejiang by collecting data and materials related to preschool education.And this paper also divides the forty years into several stages according to the significant policy of preschool education in zhejiang.At the same time,based on the historical materials and datas,this paper analyzes the development of preschool education in zhejiang in the past 40 years from the perspectives of development speed,development achievements and development factors,and also thinks about and puts forward relevant suggestions to promote the future development of preschool education in zhejiang.By analyzing the revelant data and material,this paper divides the four-decadehistory of preschool education in zhejiang into four stages of recovery development period(1978-1989),standard development period(1989-1998),consolidation development period(1998-2008)and improvement development period(2008-2018).In general,in the past 40 years,preschool education in zhejiang has been expanding in scale,improving in quality,rapidly developing in faculty and in private preschool education,constantly innovating in the mode of running kindergartens,and preschool education gradually moves towards standardization and legalization.But there are also many problems in the development,For example,Inadequate and unbalanced investment in preschool education funds,the relatively lagging of preschool education policies and regulations,the need to improve the scale and quality of preschool education teachers,and the unclear responsibilities of preschool education supervision,etc.According to the existing problems in the development of preschool education,this paper also puts forward some suggestions to promote the sustainable development of preschool education in zhejiang from such aspects as improving the funding system,improving the legal guarantee system,strengthening the construction of teacher staff and optimizing the supervision mechanism and so on.
