Research On Speciality Setup Of Private Higher Vocational Colleges In Zhejiang Province

Since the reform and opening up,China's private higher education has developed rapidly.As an integral part of education,private higher professional education is responsible for the training of talents in our country.The speciality setup of private higher vocational colleges is the vitality of private universities.At present,the private higher vocational education in Zhejiang province has experienced the development course of the sprout period,the initial development period,the rapid development period,the standard development and the transition period.Also,the school running level is higher in the country.In the speciality setup,the enrollment situation is stable,the professional layout and the structure are not evenly distributed,basically conforms to the export-oriented economy,which is dominated by the specialities of the third industry.It embodies the following three characteristics: the professional category is complete,the special and advantage specialities are prominent,and there are big differences between cold and popular specialities.The speciality setup concerns the employment of students,the expectation of the family and the development prospect of the schools.In order to find out the problems and limitations of the higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang province,through literature method and investigation method,on the basis of questionnaires and interviews with students,teachers and leaders,found that the private higher vocational specialities still do not meet the social demands,and the speciality setup conditions of the schools are not involved,and the professional operation status is not good,and adjustment cycle is long,and social evaluation is not high.Among them,the most prominent problems are the mismatch between speciality setup and regional characteristic demands,the unreasonable structure of the professional structure,the shortage of professional construction conditions,and the weak faculty.Based on these problems,the speciality setup of private vocational colleges in Zhejiang province can be improved through the following points: Build regional "characteristic" specialities to adapt to the economy of Zhejiang;Strengthen the government's macro regulation and control,and establish a mechanism about professional adjustment and exit;Improve the external conditions for "special" specialities by setting up the Private Higher Vocational Association;Optimize the faculty to ensure the stability of the teachers.The speciality setup of the private higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang province is a case of the development of the national higher vocational education.Its achievements,problems and development direction can be used for reference for the development of the private higher vocational colleges in other areas.
