In recent years,the dedicated activity room,as one of the implementation paths for diversified kindergarten courses,is invested heavily by kindergartens.It has the value of enriching curriculum resources and promoting the comprehensive development of young children.Among them,effective teacher's guidance is an important way to realize the value of dedicated activity rooms.However,according to related literature we found that the research related to the instruction of teachers in special activity room started late,the number is small,and the lack of rigorous research design,the correctness and reference of the research results still need to be further tested.In addition,in the practice,the teacher has generated questions such as whether the activity room is a game or a learning,and how to guide an autonomous game activity.Therefore,this study has a great research value from the conceptual level and the practical level,systematic and in-depth investigation and research on the quality of kindergarten-specific activity room teachers.Based on the results of the previous survey,this study selected six dedicated activity rooms and responsible teachers from the kindergarten A and B in Hangzhou X District of Zhejiang Province as the research object,and using a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research.Qualitative research specifically uses non-participatory observations and semi-structured interviews.First of all,the researcher compiled the "Environmental creation observation table" to conduct non-participatory observations on the material placement,environmental decoration,spatial planning and time schedule of the six dedicated activity rooms of the twokindergarten,and summarized their characteristics.Secondly,the researcher edited and interviewed 10 responsible teachers in the "Instructor-led Interview Outline for Kindergarten-specific Activity Room",and then used the inductive method of grounded theory to analyze the interview records transcribed into 15,000 words to understand the teacher's views of the dedicated activity room.Quantitative research specifically used the self-edited "Instructor-led event sampling observation record table" to observe and transcribe into 836 teacher-directed events,and then read them repeatedly.Based on the reference literature,the status of teacher guidance behavior in the preparation,operation and ending phases of the activity is analyzed.The research results include three parts.The first part is the teacher's view of the dedicated activity room and the teacher's guidance: 1)the teacher has recognized the characteristics of the dedicated activity room and the value of promoting the development of the child;2)the teacher believes that the effectiveness of the special activity room is related with material type and quantity of the material,less affected by the material level,but the views of the two garden teachers on the material structure are different;3)Teachers believe that the suitability of teacher guidance in the activity is related to the occasion,method,object and content of the guidance.The second part is the environmental creation of the dedicated activity room: 1)materials of kindergarten A is more than B,but the material ratio of children is lower;2)the basic material is much more than the flexible material and tool material;3)material is purchased;4)material structure is mixing by high and low structure;5)teachers take target-oriented material placement;6)environmental decoration is unique and has its own characteristics;7)spatial layout is “?” shape;8)Time schedules include class participation and mixed age participation,but the actual activity time of the two methods is inconsistent with the schedule.The third part is the teacher's guidance behavior in the activity: 1)In the preparation stage,there are differences in the guidance initiators,guidance topics and guidance objects of kindergarten A and B,and there is no significant difference in the guidance mode,guidance results and emotional characteristics;2)In the operation phase and the end phase,the guiding behaviors of the two parks are similar;3)In general,the guiding initiators are mainlyteachers,and the guiding methods are mainly based on the descriptions in the general guidance,and the prescribed activities in the authoritative control.The topic is related with managing tasks and rules,the results of the guidance mainly show that young children accept teacher's guidence and change behaviors.The emotional state of teachers and young children mainly shows peace and neutrality.According to the research results,this study analyzes and discusses the uniqueness of the dedicated activity room,the autonomy of the dedicated activity room,and the effectiveness of the instructional behavior of the dedicated activity room.Finally,the author will combine the research results and discussion,draw conclusions and propose three targeted suggestions: expand the learning path,improve the understanding of the dedicated activity room;dialogue with the children actively,establish the necessary comprehensive theme-specific activity room;respect the autonomy of children,and change the identity of teachers actively.
