In the process of peer communication,junior high school students will be affected by their peers' emotions and regulate their peers' emotion according to different motivations of emotional regulation.In order to explore the influence of peer relationship intimacy on the emotional contagion and the motivation of regulating peers"emotion,486 students in three grades of a junior high school are participated in two experiment.In the first experiment,?The positive and negative emotion scale,PANAS?is firstly used to measure the emotional contagion group and the peer group for three times after the English test and after watching the comedy video.The purpose of the first experiment is to explore the influence of junior high school students' peer relationship intimacy on effect of the positive and negative emotional contagion in different measuring situations.In the second experiment,five annoying stories and five pleasurable stories are used to investigate the situation of regulation,including their emotion,their willingness and motivation to regulate peer emotions.The purpose of the second experiment is to explore the influence of junior high school students' peer relationship intimacy on the motivation to regulate peer emotion.Before the second experiment,we had obtained the degree of peer relationship intimacy through Peers Nominate.Then we divide the groups according to the degree of peer relationship intimacy by using?Perceived Relationship Quality Components Scale,PRQC?to test the grouping resultsThrough two experiments,we draw the following conclusions:(1)The degree of junior high school students' peer relationship intimacy has an influence on the effect of emotional contagion in peer communication.The higher the degree of peer relationship intimacy is,the stronger the emotional contagion effect is.(2)The degree of peer relationship intimacy has a significant impact on the degree of willingness of regulating peer's emotion.The higher the degree of peer relationship intimacy,the lower the degree of willingness of increasing peer's anger,and the higher the degree of willingness of increasing peer's happiness.(3)Under certain circumstances,junior high school students' degree of peer relationship intimacy significantly affects the motivation to regulate peer emotion.The higher the degree of intimacy is,the higher the degree of willingness of increasing peer's positive emotion with choosing the hedonic interpersonal emotion regulation motivation.The lower the degree of intimacy is,the higher the degree of willingness of increasing peer's negative emotion with choosing the instrumental interpersonal emotion regulation motivation.
