As one of children's favorite games,clay sculpture activities have an important impact on the development of children's art ability.Firstly,this study reflects the current situation of children's art ability development in clay sculpture activities by analyzing and evaluating the process and works.On the one hand,observation and interviews are used to observe the clay sculpture activities of the class to understand the current situation of the development of children's art ability in the clay sculpture activities;on the other hand,through the analysis of children's clay sculpture works,the level and characteristics of children's art ability are reflected in the results of clay sculpture activities.Secondly,in order to analyze the factors affecting the development of children's art ability in clay sculpture activities,this paper summarizes and analyses the relevant research on the influencing factors of children's art ability,and extracts the specific influencing factors combined with the research results.The study found that:1.The overall level of children's art ability in large class clay sculpture activities is higher.In the analysis and evaluation of the process of clay sculpture activities,the number of children in the nine aspects of conception,initiative,interest,concentration,independence,creativity,proficiency in operation,self-perception and habits accounted for a higher proportion of the total number of points representing the high level of level one and level two,showing a high level of overall performance.The clay sculpture works of large class children show the following characteristics:theme selection,the theme of the work is closely related to life,vulnerable to the impact of the environment at that time;shape,space shows three-dimensional,vivid shape image,a line of polysemous phenomenon;color use,rich,in line with the reality of life,good at using complementary colors.2.The factors affecting children's artistic ability in large class clay sculpture activities are mainly extracted from three aspects:experience,environment and education.They include life experience,the number of exercises in the same shape,peer interaction,reference materials,new things,teacher guidance and educational activities.According to the research conclusion,this study puts forward some suggestions for organizing and guiding children's clay sculpture activities:attaching importance to the process of clay sculpture activities,making more use of formative evaluation;teaching children to use clay sculpture reference materials rationally;enriching experience,timely awakening the image stored in children's mind;paying attention to children's interest in activities,and taking measures to stimulate children's creative enthusiasm;Complex clay sculpture skills,skills and problem-solving ability training;positive evaluation of children's works,focusing on children's^progress rather than the results of the work;enrich the environment,according to children's interests and current curriculum goals,timely adjustment and replacement of activity materials to ensure the attractiveness of materials to children.
