Guiding students to master the core knowledge of physics so that they can establish the system of physics core knowledge is an important guarantee for teachers to carry out effective teaching.Only by clarifying the logical hierarchical relationship between the various physics knowledge and extracting the core knowledge,students can carry out in-depth thinking and learn on the basis of understanding.Mind map is an efficient tool to build a core knowledge system,starting from a central keyword,connecting each knowledge point,idea or other related items in the form of radiation,showing the relationship between knowledge.The use of mind map in the teaching of core knowledge can truly complete the visualization of abstract thinking,logical system of hierarchy,as well as the divergence and focus of knowledge under the core knowledge system,which is worth us to study.In this paper,we use literature research,experimental methods,investigation and interview to study.Taking two classes in the second grade of a middle school as the research object,set up the experimental class and the control class,and carry out the core knowledge teaching practice based on the mind map in the experimental class,teach the students how to draw the mind map,and the control class adopts the conventional teaching method to carry on the teaching.Before the teaching experiment,the investigation shows that the students are weak in constructing the core knowledge system and have a strong willingness to learn mind mapping.After the teaching experiment,the students' scores in physics were analyzed,their works were evaluated and the students were interviewed.The experimental results showed that the students in the experimental class had higher scores in physics academic performance than those in the control class.The work of mind map of the students in the experimental class are superior to the control class in terms of accuracy,integrity,structure,and divergence.Based on this,this study draws the following conclusions:Mind map can enhance students' understanding and mastery of the core knowledge of physics,Mind map can promote the construction of students' physics core knowledge systems,Mind map can help students connect knowledge together and promote the formation of divergent thinking.The teaching of physics core knowledge based on mind map can improve students' academic performance to a certain extent.
