"Learning a useful geography for life" is the basic concept of the Geography Curriculum Standard.How to make geography classes closer to life and let students learn to think about problems from a geographical perspective is what every geography teacher needs to think about.At the same time,in modern society,the development of individual needs to interact with the outside world.Therefore,getting along with others,working together and cooperating are the necessary abilities and qualities of every citizen in the 21st century.In the process of cooperative learning,teachers should not only pay attention to the implementation of textbook knowledge,but also pay attention to the cultivation of students' learning methods and the cultivation of emotional attitudes and values.Geography group cooperative learning of junior high school is also in line with the needs of geography.It is a comprehensive,interdisciplinary subject with natural and social science that plays an important role in solving many contemporary natural and social problems.There are so many activities in the textbook,which is suitable for students to carry out cooperative learning.At the same time,collaborative study of geography groups can enhance students' interest in geography learning and enhance students' teamwork ability,which is crucial for geography learning and students' future development.This article uses pedagogy and psychology as the theoretical guidance.Through reading the literature and analyzing the status quo of cooperation learning at home and abroad,combined with my work practice in the 19th Junior High School in Wuhan,the questionnaire survey and classroom observation are adopted.I also use data comparison,comprehensive analysis and other research methods.And from the perspective of the rational grouping,the training of group representatives,the group's cohesiveness building,the selection of cooperative learning materials,the reasonable evaluation criteria,and the optimization of teaching design,etc.,I discuss the implementation methods of geography group cooperative learning of junior high school.At the same time,practical research shows that geography group cooperation learning can significantly enhance students'interest in geography learning and make geography classes more active.Students gradually master how to discuss and solve problems with team members in the process of cooperative learning,and master the ability of listening to others and showing themselves.Therefore,from the perspective of geography needs and student development needs,group cooperative learning in geography classes of junior high school has a positive effect.
