Teachers' professional identity includes teachers' understanding of their own career and their emotional attitude.It is the intrinsic motivation of teachers' self-development,which directly or indirectly affects students' learning effect and personality construction.Empirical research on teachers' professional identity can reflect the reality of teachers,which is of positive significance for in-depth understanding of teachers' psychology,rules of teachers' professional development and enrichment of education theory and practice.From three dimensions of teachers' professional identity---career cognition,career support and career satisfaction,the study prepared the self-made questionnaire to investigate the general status of professional identity of primary schoolteachers in Binhu District of Wuxi and analyze the differences of teachers' professional identity on demographic.It is concluded that the professional identity of teachers' is above the average;teachers have the highest level of professional support,and then satisfaction,the level of professional cognition is the lowest,and some teachers are inclined to resign.By analyzing the demographic differences in teachers' professional identity,it is found that teachers with different gender,age,teaching age,academic degree,professional title,backbone title,teaching subject,school types and monthly salary level all have significant differences in teachers' professional identity;through the regression analysis of teachers' professional identity by demographics,it is found that the subjects and school types have a 6.0%influence on the overall lever of teachers' professional identity;through the linear regression analysis of the influence of the dimension of teachers' professional identity on teachers'professional identity,it is found that career cognition has the greatest influence on teachers'professional identity.According to the questionnaire survey and analysis results,the author puts forward corresponding measures to improve the level of teachers' professional identity from four aspects,namely society,school,family and teachers themselves:improving the social status of the teaching profession,improving teachers' career satisfaction at school,promoting harmonious family development and improving teachers' professional cognition.
