Based on the study findings that The wisdom refers to certain forms of feasible reasoning and performance.The main feature of wise reasoning is that to make people to transcend their ego-centered assertions.Prior research shows that moving focus away from the self and to the other person can upgrade valid conflict resolution.Do psychological distance and reflective perspective influence decision makers' reasoning forms of problem solving? Or whether when people are reasoning about "future plan" would be more sagacious than "current problem".If so,are people really wiser when reasoning about others` problems compared with their own? In this article,we used the Berlin Wisdom Paradigm to manipulate the different psychological distance and reflective perspective in the two situations of "current occupational planning" and "future career planning" to examine the subject's wise reasoning.Two experiments were performed using 2(psychological distance: self / other)* 2(reflective perspective: immersed / distanced)of within-subject in experimental design,the first factor is psychological distance,including self and oth er two conditions;The second factor from the reflective perspective,including immersed and distanced of two levels.Each experiment was divided into two stages: first,two levels of self-immersed and self-distanced were measured;after three weeks,So did the two levels of other-immersed and other-distanced.The result of the study indicated:The results of repeated variance analysis of two experiments show that the main effect of psychological distance(Self-other)and reflective perspective(Immersed/Distanced)is significant in the "current occupational planning" situation,and the interaction between them is not significant.In the "future career planning" situation,the interaction between psychological distance and reflective perspective is significant.The simple effects test,psychological distance(self/others)is a significant difference in the wisdom of the "Immersed" and the "Distanced" level.It is explained that the formation of wise reasoning is directly re lated to the distance of psychological distance,and the distance of psychological distance is conducive to the formation of wise reasoning behavior.The conclusion is that(1)the distance of psychological distance improves the form of representation of the abstract knowledge of events,and can improve the interpretation level.(2)In the process of wise reasoning,self-similarity(familiarity)is an important form of reference for decision makers to make inference and interpretation.(3)There is a superposition phenomenon between different dimensions of psychological distance,and the psychological distance after superposition reinforces the degree of wise reasoning.This research finding has important enlightenment and significance for college students to deal with "the current occupational planning" situation(close view)and "the future career planning"(distant view),In the education strategy of the current occupational planning of college students,career planning should take into account the short-term and long-term orientation of career goals,the "feasibility" and "desirability" characteristics of occupational attributes,and the balanced development relationship between the person(self),quality and situation in the career development.In the education of college students' future career planning strategy,career planning should pay attention to professional psychological education,creative thinking and professional skills of lifelong development strategy.
