With the eighth Curriculum Reform of Elementary Education entering into a crucial stage,the reform has brought great challenges to the biology teachers.For implement the curriculum reform,classroom teaching always comes first where the students' scientific accomplishment can be improved.For teachers,the critical elements in class,their instruction behaviors have been closely connected to the curriculum reform.Therefore this paper centering on the study of the teachers' class instruction behaviors,attempts to probe into the deficiencies of these activities in the context of the curriculum reform and discuss how to perfect the class instruction behaviors.By reviewed previous literatures,this paper chooses cooperative learning concept advocated by curriculum reform as the starting point.Cooperative learning has some particular advantages,which enables the students to cooperate sufficiently in groups and meanwhile enhances their abilities of learning independently and cooperatively,so that it gains front live biology teachers' favor.However,limited by the time demanded for the implement and progress of the reform and the distinct qualities and abilities between the biology teachers,class instruction featuring cooperative learning is not always perfect for some teachers,especially those novice teachers in entry-level.Therefore,the gap between the new teachers and skilled teachers becomes obvious gradually.Three dimensions are divided in the class instruction behaviors based on the cooperative learning,including the teaching preparation behaviors,the teaching implement behaviors and the teaching evaluation behaviors.Taking examples of the new biology teachers and skilled teachers in Laishan district of Yantai city,comparisons of the three dimensions are carried out to make a search for the current situation of the class instruction behaviors,based on the cooperative learning and conducted by the new biology teachers and skilled teachers.The teaching preparation behaviors are investigated through interview,the teaching implement behaviors through the observation scale.The insufficient aspects can be discovered through the data above:(1)deficiency of the analysis of the students;(2)lack of some specialized knowledge;(3)lack of practical experience;(4)the delay of the teaching reflection.To solve the problems,suggestions are proposed for the novice teachers to better the class instruction behaviors,that is,deepen the analysis of the students,enhance the specialized knowledge about learning,accumulate the practical experience and reinforce the teaching reflection timely.
