Explanatory writing is ubiquitous in life and its value in teaching is irreplaceable.It is the demand of the times and the trend of education to have the ability to read explanatory writing.Explanatory reading teaching should occupy a place in Chinese reading teaching.Chinese teaching in junior high school and senior high school is a continuous whole,but nowadays the instructional teaching in junior high school and senior high school is independent,and the teaching cohesion is worrying.This paper explores the teaching cohesion of expository reading in junior and senior high schools,which is divided into four parts.The first part of the introduction mainly discusses the important value and significance of the teaching cohesion of expository reading in junior and senior high schools from four aspects: the origin,significance,methods and research status.The second part is about the current situation of teaching cohesion of expository reading in junior and senior high schools.Through questionnaires and interviews,the author investigates and interviews the current situation of teaching cohesion of expository reading in junior and senior high schools,and analyses the current situation of teaching cohesion of expository reading in junior and senior high schools from the two levels of teachers and students.It is found that students' learning status and cognitive negativity,immobilization of learning habits and methods,differentiation of physical and mental development and thinking development,and teachers' awareness of cohesion is too high.Lack of planning of teaching content,lack of communication between sections and other issues,such as the neglect of cohesion in teaching methods,the degeneration of teaching process into a model,the lack of planning of teaching content,and the lack of communication between sections.The third part is the analysis of the reasons for the inappropriate cohesion of instructional reading teaching in junior and senior high schools.This part mainly studies curriculum standards,textbooks and teachers,and finds that the main reasons are insufficient cohesion of curriculum standards between junior and senior high schools,disconnection of compiling junior and senior high school Chinese textbooks and improper implementation of teachers' level.The fourth part elaborates the thinking and suggestions on the effective cohesion of instructional reading teaching in junior and senior high schools.The author puts forward some thoughts and suggestions from three aspects: curriculum standards,textbooks and teachers.Firstly,by comparing the old and new curriculum standards of senior high schools,we should grasp the new convergence point,pay attention to the curriculum standards of junior and senior high schools,and achieve effective teaching convergence;secondly,textbooks should be reasonably distributed according to the location of selected texts,the type of selected texts should be changed from teaching reading to self-reading,the content of selected texts should be rationally selected,and the gradient of selected texts is difficult to present;thirdly,teachers should renew teaching concepts and strengthen the sense of convergence;To guide students to learn and promote smooth cohesion;to study curriculum standards and clear cohesion objectives;to familiarize themselves with Chinese textbooks and grasp cohesion content;to promote effective cohesion based on teaching practice.
