Teachers' ethics is the core content of teachers' professional qualities.Normal students,as quasi-teachers,their sense of teacher ethics restricts their future teaching behavior.Therefore,schools should attach importance to the cultivation of teachers' moral consciousness.However,there are few researches.Investigation about teachers' morality consciousness of normal students is of great significance.With the help of questionnaires,this study explores the relevance between the ethics consciousness of normal students and ethics education,educational practice,three individual factors(gender,grade and school record).Through descriptive analysis of the questionnaire data,independent sample T test,analysis of variance,correlation and regression analysis and supplemented by interview data,following research conclusions can be obtained:1.Teachers' morality consciousness of normal students is on the upper middle level.At the same time,there is a lack of enthusiasm and willingness of normal students to teach for life,because students of some normal majors have the job problems of inadequate posts or mismatched majors;secular and utilitarian tendencies of some normal students' values.Besides,normal students have poor teaching management ability.2."Professional role consciousness" has no significant difference in individual factors,ethics education and educational practice.3.“Caring students consciousness” has significant differences in grade,school record and ethic education.Firstly,the higher the grade,the higher the score is.The reason is the higher the grade,the more teacher ethics education they receive.Secondly,best record students have lower scores because they pay more attention to the factors affecting their study record but not the improvement of teachers' moral qualities which beyond the evaluation indicators.Thirdly,normal students with courses of teacher ethics scored higher because theoretical learning can improve their scientific knowledge of primary and secondary school students.4."Teaching consciousness" are significantly different in grade,school record and educational practice.Firstly,the higher the grade,the higher the score is.Because the higher grade students receive more teacher ethics education and teaching skills training.Secondly,normal students have participated in educational practice have a more "positive attitude" in education and teaching.Because teaching practice makes they more confident in education as well as their educational ability.5.There are significant correlations among the four factors of teachers' ethics consciousness.The regression model: teaching consciousness = 0.014 * professional role consciousness + 0.355 * caring students consciousness + 0.463 * professional interpersonal consciousness.In order to improve the cultivation of teachers' moral consciousness,it is suggested that schools implement the concept of quality education and enhance students' confidence of being teachers;attach importance to the guidance of vocational concept and cultivate teachers' happiness;coordinate the teacher's moral education,innovate the form of teacher's moral education;strengthen educational practice and enhance the wisdom of teachers' education.
