The construction of evaluation mechanism is the baton for ideological and political teachers who teach in colleges and universities.Strengthening the construction of evaluation mechanism is an effective way to improve the quality of ideological and political teachers and promote the professional development of them.At present,there are some problems in the evaluation of ideological and political teachers.First,the evaluation of teachers' morality lies in proceduralization.Second,marginalization exists in classroom teaching assessment.Third,scientific research has become the only criterion for assessment and evaluation and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the evaluation of mechanism and guide teachers of ideological and political class putting their main energy into classroom teaching and related teaching research to improve the quality of teachers.The research on the evaluation mechanism of college ideological and political teachers has a profound and long-term significance for building a high-level ideological and political teacher team.This paper mainly discusses the construction of evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities.It consists of five parts.The introduction part explains the background of the research,the relevant research at home and abroad,the significance and the innovation of the research.The literature analysis method is used to sort out the relevant literatures on the construction of evaluation mechanism of the ideological and political teachers.The writer points out that the construction of evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers under the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is very important and urgent.The first chapter is an overview of evaluation mechanism of teachers in colleges and universities.It analyzes the relevant concepts of the construction of evaluation mechanism for ideological and political teachers and summarizes the main content and particularity of the evaluation of ideological and political teachers.What's more,the special significance and important role of strengthening the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers are mentioned.The second chapter points out that the construction of the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities should be based on the objectives of constructing evaluation mechanism,the relevant policy requirements of the Communist Party of China,the special requirements of the ideological and political teachers,and the specialization of the ideological and political teachers.Based on the principle of adhering tothe combination of political requirements and adherence to the rules of teaching,the combination of comprehensive requirements and outstanding teaching centers,the combination of general requirements and special requirements,and the combination of long-term requirements and recent requirements.The third chapter analyzes the present situation of the construction of evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities.First,it points out the important progress that has been made in the construction of the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities.Second,it points out some problems still existing and analyzes the main causes of problems.The fourth chapter proposes to improve the importance of the evaluation,strengthen the implementation of the existing policies for the evaluation mechanism,formulate a more targeted evaluation system,strengthen the research of evaluation index system and establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation procedures and other aspects to promote the construction of the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities.In summary,Actively innovating and constructing an evaluation mechanism that meets the professional characteristics of ideological and political teachers,overcoming the tendency of overemphasized essays and academic qualifications,highlighting the political requirements of teachers of ideological and political education,improving the proportion of classroom teaching assessment,and strengthening the evaluation of Marxist theoretical disciplines and the related evaluation of teaching research are of great significance to promoting the professional construction of the ideological and political teachers.
