High school is an important stage for the formation of independent personality of adolescents,and a critical period for the formation of their outlook on life,values and world outlook.In this period,they pursue individuality,yearn for freedom and independence,but difficult to get rid of childishness.Various psychological contradictions and internal conflicts are generated and transformed in the complex and changeable social environment.Increasingly fierce competition for examinations makes it difficult for them to breathe.Heavy tasks,tense rhythm of life and complex social relations make them bear tremendous internal and external pressures.They are prone to negative emotions and psychological problems such as weariness,burnout,irritability,pessimism,which affect their physical and mental health and academic development.The reasons for these psychological problems are not only parents and teachers.Besides the influence of external factors such as cultivation style,students' internal personality characteristics are also an important predictor.As a positive and upward personality trait,hardiness is considered to have the function of resisting pressure and adverse stimulation,preventing psychological imbalance and physical and mental distress.It can make people adjust themselves in time under pressure,maintain an optimistic and positive attitude,and thus prevent learning weariness.Promote academic development.Many studies have found that parenting styles are significantly related to individual personality formation,and even affect individual psychology and behavior through personality or some personality traits.Based on the theory of ecosystem and personality traits,605 senior high school students were surveyed with simple parenting style scale,hardiness scale,learning burnout scale and learning engagement scale,and three senior high school students were selected for case study.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship and influencing factors between parenting styles,hardiness and academic development of senior high school students,reveal their learning ecology and its internal roots,and provide reference for improving relevant education and teaching and promoting their physical and mental health.The results show that:1.There are significant differences in parenting styles among parents' educational level,students' gender and growing place.Parents,girls' parents and urban parents with higher educational level are more active in rearing styles.High school students' hardiness has significant differences in growing place and holding class posts.Urban students and students who are class cadres are more tough in personality.High school students' academic development is more gender and responsibility.There are significant differences in class posts: boys have higher learning burnout and less investment in learning;senior high school students who serve as class cadres have lower learning burnout and better academic performance.2.Parenting styles and hardiness of high school students are significantly correlated with academic development: positive parenting styles are positively correlated with hardiness,learning engagement and academic achievement of high school students,negatively correlated with learning burnout of high school students;negative parenting styles are negatively correlated with hardiness,learning engagement and academic achievement of high school students,and significantly correlated with learning burnout of high school students.There is a positive correlation between hardiness and learning engagement and academic performance of high school students,and a significant negative correlation between hardiness and learning burnout of high school students.There is a significant negative correlation between learning burnout and learning engagement and academic performance,and there is a significant positive correlation between learning engagement and academic performance.3.High school students' hardiness plays a part of mediating role between parenting styles and learning burnout,learning engagement and academic achievement.4.Parents lack correct and scientific guidance for their children's education;poor communication is the main obstacle to the healthy development of parent-child relationship;parents' way of thinking and attitude towards life are the potential influencing factors of their children's personality and academic development;excessive dependence and addiction of smartphones are important issues affecting the physical and mental health of high school students.Based on the above findings,this paper puts forward corresponding educational enlightenment and strategies from four aspects: optimizing parenting styles,helping high school students develop their hardiness,promoting their academic development,and poverty alleviation through education,so as to provide reference for improving education and teaching,and promoting the healthy and all-round development of high school students.
