With the advancement of society,people attach importance to the formation of good learning habits of primary school students.Family upbringing is a very important factor in many factors affecting the formation of behavior habits of primary school students.Research shows that pupils have different degrees of procrastination,and different ways of family upbringing will have different effects on children.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between academic procrastination and family rearing patterns of senior pupils in primary schools.On the basis of previous studies,this paper puts forward its own research ideas and assumptions.Taking pupils of fifth and sixth grades as the research objects,the data of academic procrastination and family rearing patterns of senior pupils in primary schools are collected by questionnaire survey method,and the data are processed by SPSS22.0 software.Through systematic analysis,we can get the characteristics of academic procrastination and family upbringing of senior pupils in primary schools,and explore the relationship between them.The results are as follows:Academic procrastination.There are significant differences in grade dimension and different birth order dimension of academic procrastination among senior pupils in primary school.The total score of Academic Procrastination of fifth grade pupils is higher than that of sixth grade pupils.In different birth order dimension,the eldest son and eldest daughter of multi-children have higher scores in academic procrastination.There is no significant difference in gender dimension,main living objects and parents' cultural level of academic procrastination among senior primary school students.Family upbringing.There are significant differences in gender dimension between affective warmth and spoiled parenting styles;there are significant differences in grade dimension between spoiled parenting styles,with scores higher in Grade 5 than in grade 6;there are no significant differences in birth order and main life object dimension between the five parenting styles;and there are significant differences in father's and mother's educational level dimension between the five parenting styles.There are significant differences.The relationship between academic procrastination and family upbringing.Academic procrastination is positively correlated with autocratic,spoiled and neglected parenting styles,and negatively correlated with trust and emotional warmth parenting styles,but the relationship is not significant enough.Autocratic,spoiled and neglected parenting styles have a direct impact on academic procrastination,and can significantly predict academic procrastination.Trust and emotional warmth parenting styles have indirect predictive effects on academic procrastination.
