As an important dimension of school preparation, approaches to learning is especially proposed. It refers to a learning habit and a tendency to learn behavior, which is of great significance for the lifelong development of young children. The "Guidelines for the Study and Development of Children Aged 3-6" promulgated by the Ministry of Education of China also puts forward the quality of learning, and gives a high degree of recognition and attention. And criticized "ignoring the cultivation of children's approaches to learning, the pursuit of pure knowledge and skills learning is short-sighted and harmful."As a common teaching activity in kindergartens, story teaching activities have less intervention on children's approaches to learning. In addition, previous studies have paid more attention to group children and less attention to children with approaches to learning. However, the children of average approaches to learning need the attention of teachers and parents. In this study,69 large class children were selected and divided into high, medium and low groups. The story teaching activities were used as background to intervene in children to explore whether the targeted story teaching activities had an impact on the learning quality of low group children.Whether there is a change in the gap between high and low children. From the two aspects of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the impact of story teaching activities on children's approaches to learning is analyzed, and the following conclusions are drawn:1.Targeted story teaching activities can promote the development of low-group children's approaches to learning;2.Story teaching activities have a significant impact on the persistence and concentration, initiative, independence, reflection and interpretation of low-group children's approaches to learning;3.After the story teaching activities, the difference between high group and low group children has been significantly reduced;4.In the story teaching activities, teachers' questions and guidance are particularly important.
