| Integrated Unit Themed-based Teaching(IUTT)is a new teaching theory and teaching organization form which is under the guidance of subject theory as well as teaching rules and regulations,teachers creatively integrate subject content and effective teaching resources.It can arrange teaching process and choose teaching method reasonably in order to highlight subject characteristics and promote teaching quality as well as develop students' independent reading ability,Comprehensive practical ability and disciplinary thinking ability.IUTT adopts the teaching design strategy based on textbooks,moderate exploration and reasonable integration which not only reflects the comprehensive and practical characteristics of Chinese subject but also puts leading role of teachers and principal role of students into full play.Meanwhile,since IUTT can better tally with the law of students' physical and mental development,it can not only achieve the goal of improving quality,increasing efficiency and reducing burden but also better reflect new curriculum concept of independent,cooperative and exploratory learning.This is a supplement and enrichment of the traditional single progressive teaching model in the classroom teaching design as well as the practical integration of current teaching modes and themed-based teaching methods.It will be more in line with the reality of fundamental education and will be of more general applicability and promotion value since it is the results of five –year empirical research and practice by a group of front-line teachers who love reading and Chinese teaching.When doing the UITT,we should focus on the principle of integrity and implement it systematically.In addition,we should dynamically adjust the teaching methods and processes in practice,so that the teaching contents can be implemented and the teaching objectives can be achieved.From the practical point of view,this paper puts forward the teaching philosophy of UITT which is accordance with the curriculum standards and relies on textbooks regardless of forms.It brings curriculum integration,unit teaching,theme reading,group article reading and whole book reading into the premise of serving the Chinese language class.With the specific teaching organization form and detailed lessons for the front-line teachers,it provides the overall unit design concept and strategy,implementation approaches and methods,action research continuous improvement and teaching evaluation of the whole process of teaching reference.This article takes the fourth or fifth grade students as the research object,and makes a comparative analysis of the current textbooks for the fourth and fifth grade from the subject of science,sociology and Chinese literature.The aim is to jump out of the circle of Chinese and cultivate the overall awareness and systematic concept of Chinese teaching.This study puts forward some constructive and pragmatic analysis and suggestions on the current Chinese reading teaching,but I may have left out many important facts which is biased in academic theory.Helpful corrections are welcome. |
