The educational nature of morality and intelligence are two critical aspects of the Ideological and Political Courses in High Schools,where moral education is the fundamental attribute.Affective targets contains the targets of emotions,attitudes and values.The important requirements of affective targets in high school ideological and political education are patriotism,collectivism and socialist ideology.At the same time,the goal of ideological and political education is helping students initially form correct outlook of the world,the life and the values.Therefore,it is very important to study the effective way on realization strategies of affective targets in ideological and political education,which has an important significance on achieving the educational goal of establishing morality and personnel training.This paper is mainly composed of four parts.The first part is the Introduction,the research background as well as domestic and foreign research status on affective targets are briefly introduced in this part.In addition,the research methods,innovations and shortcomings of this paper are summarized.The second part is an overview of affective targets in high school ideological and political education.In this part,the concept of the ideological and political curriculum in high schools is defined and the specific contents of affective targets is elaborated.Moreover,the relationship among knowledge,ability and affective targets is analyzed.At last,the importance of realization of affective targets in high school ideological and political education is proposed.The third part is the present situation and analysis of the affective targets of in high school ideological and political education.Practical implementation issues of affective targets were found during ideological and political education based on the field survey of 520 classes in 9 typical high schools in the eastern and western regions of Hubei Province.First of all,the affective targets education lacks attention in teachers and is not fully reflected in the teaching design.Next,formalized implementation methods were represented in the affective targets education,which made the affective targets education stick to the daily life as well as far from daily life.Finally,a brief analysis on teacher's teaching ability is conducted.The fourth part isthe effective realization strategy of affective targets in high school ideological and political education.An effective realization strategy is put forward relating to the issues proposed before.Firstly,improving the teaching ability of teachers in the following aspects,strengthen self-learning,refining the affective targets,optimizing the teaching mode and methods,and then forming the state that the teachers play a leading role in the class.Secondly,highlighting the importance of student status by improving the teaching organization form,cultivating students' learning ability as well as using scientific evaluation mechanism to enhance the teaching effect.Thirdly,making full use of network information and teaching platform to promote the network teaching and the combination of home and school.Then the affective targets in high school ideological and political education would be better achieved by these innovative teaching methods.The effective implementation of affective targets in high school ideological and political education has affected the moral education effect of the ideological and political courses.It is of great significance to the ultimate realization of the educational goals of the “Establishing Morality and Personnel Training" as well as the cultivation of the socialist builders and successors of the Chinese characteristics.
