Research On Parental Care Behavior Of Young Parents

In the process of social transformation and social change,the values,life attitudes and social behavior patterns of youth groups have also changed.Parental rearing is a process in which legal couples perform their parental duties and take part in the care,accompanying and nurturing of their children.Young parents' parental rearing behavior not only reflects the individual characteristics of modern youth groups,but also reflects the real development trend of society.Based on the theory of family modernization and role theory,this paper chooses the young parents in L City of Shandong Province as the research object,uses mixed research methods,collects data and data through questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews,and makes quantitative and qualitative comprehensive analysis to respond to the relationship between social development in public issues and the situation of young parents' parenting in specific situations.This paper mainly consists of three parts: the current situation of parents' parental rearing behavior in L city,the analysis of environmental background,difficulties and countermeasures and suggestions.First,the status quo.The author finds that the participation rate of young parents in parenting is lower,but more attention is paid to comprehensiveness and scientificalization.Specifically,there are six characteristics: the content of parental care is gradually enriched and refined,focusing on comprehensive care;parental care tends to be scientific and democratic;the material input of parental care increases but there is a class gap,and material input becomes a part of consumption ratio;the time input of parental care is reduced,while the time input of male parental care is increased,but still exists compared with that of female parental care.There is a big gap;the change of young parents' concept of parenting is reflected in the change of consciousness from obligation to right;parenting behavior has become one of the main contents of young parents' media social interaction.On this basis,this paper reveals the current situation of young people's parenting behavior from three aspects: parental care,parental companionship and parental cultivation.Secondly,environmental background analysis.Modernization factors have promoted the development of individual needs of young people and reduced the willingness and behavior of young parents to actively engage in parental care.On the one hand,realistic factors have brought social rules and obstacles to parental involvement of young people,on the other hand,they have provided opportunities for self-realization.Traditional factors are deeply rooted and contradict individualism,mainly in the form of intergenerational divide.Influencing the child-bearing choice and nurturing behavior of young parents.Modernization,realism and tradition together shape the behavior status quo of young parents' parenting.Third,difficulties and countermeasures.Based on the previous investigation and analysis,the author believes that the predicament of young parents in parenting mainly includes: the gap between the consciousness and behavior of young parents' participation in parenting;the difficulty in avoiding intergenerational contradictions in parenting process;the poor effect of the implementation of parenting policies and regulations;the insufficient attention and support from social forces such as work units,schools,communities and the media to parenting.Form a good joint relationship.To this end,the author puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: taking the Party and the government as the leadership,formulating and implementing relevant policies and regulations;taking young parents as the main body,respecting the basic reproductive choices and life planning of young people;taking modern families as the core,alleviating inter-generational and family contradictions;taking work units as the position,providing understanding and support for parental care;relying on schools,giving full play to them.Educational advantages of home-school alliance and effective propaganda and guidance through mass media.
