Parental accompaniment is the starting point of parent-child relationship,which is also an important indicator of the quality of family education.Based on this,according to the current situation of family education,this study's aim is to explore the behavioral characteristics,understand the status quo and existing problems as well as influencing factors of parental accompaniment in an attempt to put forward some targeted educating suggestions.This study randomly parents of children aged 3-6 as respondents with the combination of theoretical and empirical research to explore the behavioral characteristics of parents accompanying young children.In the theoretical research,by summarizing and analyzing existing literature,this study constructs the evaluation dimension of the behavioral characteristics of parents accompanying young children in order to confirm the dimensions of parental accompaniment's behavioral characteristics.In the empirical research,this study constructs a survey index system of behavior characteristics of parental accompaniment through interviewing parents to design the questionnaire on behavior characteristics of parental accompaniment to investigate current situation of parental accompaniment.The basic conclusions obtained are:1.The behavioral characteristics of parents accompanying young children mainly include intimacy,persistency,support,and rich activities.2.The general situation of parents accompanying young children is above the average,but the richness of accompanying content relatively is the worst.3.In general,the behavioral characteristics of parents accompanying young children exist significant differences in terms of the age and gender of young children,the age and the level of education of parents,and the main companion.4.The behavioral characteristic of parents accompanying young children is related to the level of education of parents,family income per capita,family pattern and kindergarten,while it's not related to the working condition of the main companion.Based on the above results,the study believes that improving the behavior of parents accompanying young children is the first work to improve the quality of family education.Furthermore,cultivating parental learning power,enriching parental accompanying activities,optimizing the relationship among family members in upbringing and promoting the development of family education guidance work will be effective strategies to make the current situation of parents accompanying young children better and optimize the family education function.
