Model-based teaching has attracted enough attention in the field of science education.Model and model construction can effectively cultivate students' scientific thinking and core quality.Chemical teaching based on model construction attaches importance to the learning methods of students' cooperation and inquiry,reflecting the new curriculum reform concept of "people-oriented" and "moral cultivation".However,the research on model construction in chemistry teaching still needs to be further deepened.Through the research and practice of high school chemistry teaching based on model construction,this paper hopes to provide certain reference for cultivating students' core quality of chemistry.Through literature research,this paper summarizes the research status of relevant models and model construction at home and abroad,finds the deficiencies of existing research and puts forward research problems.After defining the concepts of model and model construction,the theoretical basis of this paper is determined.Then the questionnaire on the current situation of chemical teaching based on model construction in senior high school was designed and the students were investigated through the questionnaire survey method to understand the current situation of chemical teaching based on model construction and providebackground materials and reference basis for this paper.On the basis of literature analysis,the basic elements and the general mode of chemical teaching based on model construction are put forward by combining the knowledge content of "principles of chemical reaction",integrating advanced learning theory and focusing on the process of students' knowledge and thinking progression.After that,three teaching cases of "salt hydrolysis","galvanic cell" and "electrolytic cell" were designed based on model construction.The teaching based on model construction was elaborated from the aspects of prototype,cognitive model,model progression process and teaching ideas,and the teaching practice was carried out in the high school chemistry class with the action research method.After the practice,Excel and SPSS 21.0 were used to analyze and compare the chemical scores in the pretest and posttest as well as the SOLO thinking level of middle school students in the after-class test questions,so as to evaluate the teaching effect.The preliminary results show that the chemical teaching research based on model construction can help teachers and students to understand the specific process of model construction and pay attention to the development process of students' thinking after integrating the theory of learning progression.Chemical teaching based on model construction is conducive to the structuring and integration of students' chemical knowledge,can promote students' thinking development,reflect students' cognitive development process,and at the same time has a certain positive impact on students' chemical achievements,providing reference for front-line teachers' chemical teaching.
