In this value pluralism era,everyone faces different choices,which are closely related to personal life.Children also have their own choices in class life of kindergarten,and the right to choose can provide a certain guarantee.On the consideration of the characteristics of the subject of right,the children's right to choose is mainly limited to the educational life,not involving the political level,and has a certain boundaries in this paper.The purpose of this paper is to explore: how much space is there for children to choose as an active individual in class life of kindergarten? What factors will restrict the implementation of children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten? How to protect children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten?The study collects data mainly by means of observation?interview and documentation.It explains children's right to choose from different disciplines,and then describes and analyses the real situation of children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten.The article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces theorigin of the problem and the plan of research.The second part corroborates children's right to choose from the perspectives of different disciplines,such as philosophy,law,psychology and pedagogy,and establishes the existence of this right theoretically with the help of relevant disciplinary knowledge.The third part mainly describes the “status” of children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten.Firstly,a holistic description and analysis from two aspects is presented.Teachers provide choices for children and children seek their own choices.Then,the status of children's right to choose indicate that the education is moving towards democratization,and children's right to choose is implemented because it coincides with the purpose of education.The fourth part describes the “predicament” of children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten,which presents another aspect of children's right to choose.Through analysis,it is found that “system”,“plan”,“norm” and“authority” restrict children's right to choose in class life.The fifth part is the cultural analysis on the dilemma of children's right to choose in class life of kindergarten,andthen put forward suggestions for the protection of children's right to choose.A postfigurative culture which advocates acceptance,stability and security and discourage initiative discovery,change and risk-taking spurns children's choice.And a problematic institutionalized class life makes children lack the opportunity to choose.Thus,the teachers have a negative impact on children's right to choose.In order to promote the protection of children's right to choose,firstly,we should change our concepts and establish the concepts of children's right to choose.Secondly,we should create an educational environment to safeguard children's choices.Finally,we should pay attention to guidance and help children learn to make choices and also cultivate their ability to choose and a sense of responsibility.
