Children's time experience and the meaning of time in their lives highlight the quality and significance of childhood life itself.With the increasing emphasis on children's views,ideas,and opinions in the education process,more and more researchers call for investigation and analysis of the current status of kindergarten education practices from the perspective of children's time experience,promoting changes in kindergarten daily life and curriculum.However,the qualitative investigation of children's time experience at the practical level is relatively less due to abstractness of time and difficulties in the research of life experience.This study took nine children in a certain big class of Nanjing S kindergarten as the research objects.The children's experience in the planning and implementing status of daily life schedule was taken as the starting point.During four months of living with children,the study deeply explored their time practice in collective life.Study also used random interviews,one to one interviews and other accessible methods to obtain children's interpretation of the self-time experience;In order to verify the authenticity of children's words,interviews towards class teachers and parents are also necessary;The interpretation of children's paintings help to excavates children's time experience of kindergarten lives.The study found that children's time experience includes three psychological level,which are cognition,emotion and motivation.First,in the long-term kindergarten life,young children have formed the chronological order and duration of daily time arrangements.Second,they have produced subjective evaluations,emotional experiences of the kindergarten life time.Third,their behavioral performance in daily life and expectation of future life time reflects the psychological experience of young children on a motivation level.Based on the theory of phenomenology on life experience,the study try to interpret children's time experience in a phenomenological perspective and extracted two themes of existence,which are timeliness and relevance.For young children,time in kindergarten is to complete the predetermined life content in the whistle of clock time.The constant urging of clocks time and the discipline of adult values make young children often feel anxious about future even though their fresh are still in present.The clock time of the kindergarten is out of touch with the child's experience time.At the same time,children's experience of relationship between teacher and child and peer to peer interaction also affect children's experience of life time.Inaddition,the research analyzes the factors that influence children's time experience from the perspective of practice,and puts forward corresponding Suggestions and inspirations for creating a more suitable time life for children based on the three subjects of kindergarten managers,preschool teachers and parents according to the problems found.
