| The main research content of this topic is to try to organically combine the elements related to biology teaching existing in the history of biological science with the three links of prediction,observation and interpretation included in POE teaching strategy(Predict-Observe-Explain,abbreviated POE).In order to explore the effect of POE teaching strategy combined with the history of biological science on improving students’ scientific thinking ability in high school biology teaching,POE teaching permeated the history of biological science was formed and applied to high school biology teaching practice.The results of this research are as follows.1.POE teaching strategies and methods combined with the history of biological science are proposed.(1)Through the analysis and collation of domestic and foreign literature related to the history of biological science and POE teaching strategy,a teaching strategy combining the history of biological science and POE teaching strategy is proposed.(2)Based on the combination of POE teaching strategies and the history of biological science,"Structure and function of cell membrane","ATP,the energy currency of cells","active transport,enocytosis and exocytosis" are determined as the teaching contents of this study.The teaching objective of cultivating students’ scientific thinking is determined by combining the teaching content and teaching methods.For the above teaching contents and objectives,the teaching process and methods to infiltrate the history of biological science in POE teaching process are formulated.These methods include the experiments of some scientists in the history of science in exploring the conditions of active transportation.2.The application of POE teaching strategy combined with the history of biological science in middle school biology research results.(1)The evaluation system and method of POE teaching strategy teaching effect combined with the history of biological science are established.Establish an analysis test paper to evaluate the teaching effect,analyze and study the effectiveness of the test paper in evaluating the teaching effect of improving the teaching objective and scientific thinking level,establish the evaluation content of the level and dimension of scientific thinking,and assign values to specific test questions.(2)Analyze the biological knowledge background of the research objects and implement differentiated teaching.Two classes with no significant difference in scientific thinking level were selected as the experimental class and the control class.SPSS was used for in-depth analysis and it was found that there was no significant difference in each dimension of scientific thinking between the two classes.The experimental class adopts POE teaching combined with the history of biological science,while the control class adopts routine teaching.(3)Research results and analysis of the effect of POE teaching on the development of students’ scientific thinking level based on the history of biological science.Independent sample T test was applied to the pre-and post-test scores of the experimental class and control class.The results show that POE teaching combined with the history of biological science can promote scientific thinking and the comprehensive application ability of prediction,observation and interpretation to a certain extent,improve the overall induction and generalization ability,and significantly strengthen the induction and generalization ability of Level 3 and deductive and reasoning ability of Level 2.The feature and innovation point of this research is to combine the elements related to the history of biological science and biology teaching with the classical POE teaching strategy,providing a new example for the application of the classical POE teaching strategy in biology teaching.The results of application research in teaching show that the combination of POE teaching links and processes is enriched with the touching historical facts of biological science history,and plays a certain role in promoting the development of students’ scientific thinking. |
