Purpose:By studying of written praise's influence towards learning motivation of primary school seniors,the research probes into the written praise on learning motivation is good for students.Method:By using the Diagnostic Test(MAAT)to understand the current situation of learning motivation among the 6~thh Grade students of a5 primary school in Tianxin District,Changsha City,Hunan Province.Then,the intervention study was conducted on pupils'English classroom practice with written praise.According to the statistical data,it took three ways like Pair-Sample T Test?Analysis of Variance and Descriptive statistical analysis to compare how big a role the written praise play in improving learning motivation.Result:The research found the learning motivation of the experimental group 1 without written praise has no much difference,while the experimental group 2 and group 3'slearning motivation exist significant difference with different written praise.During the Further Analysis,it found that the learning motivation in the Effort-Orientation complimentary evaluation interference is more notable than the Ability-Orientations'.The research shows different written praise has positive effects on primary school seniors'learning motivation.Therefore,the teachers,especially English teachers should pay more attention to ways of effective commendation according to children's learning situation in ordinary teaching.Conclusion:The learning motivation in the Effort-Orientation complimentary evaluation interference is more notable than the Ability-Orientations'.
