The state-owned enterprises,as the pillar of the national economy,and the private enterprises,as an important part of the socialist market economy,have different development paths while China's economy is constantly evolving and reforming.The working class is the leading class in our country,however,the objective class status of which has undergone tremendous changes as the reform and opening up.In order to promote the healthy and harmonious development of the working population and the healthy operation of enterprises,this paper investigates 1622 workers in 8 enterprises in Heilongjiang Province to clarify the differences and influencing factors of workers' class identity in different ownership enterprises.Firstly,it describes and analyses the workers' class identity in total sample population,state-owned enterprises and private enterprises;Then the differences of demographic,household registration and political and economic characteristics of workers in different ownership enterprises are compared by Chi-square analysis;Finally,the differences of workers' class identity with different demographic,household registration and political and economic characteristics are compared in the data of total sample,state-owned enterprises and private enterprises by the methods of contingency correlation,average comparison and linear correlation analysis.The conclusions are as follows: there is a significant difference of workers' class identity in state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.The average of workers' class identity in private enterprises is slightly higher than that in state-owned enterprises,and its distribution is more dispersed.In terms of demographic characteristics,the sex ratio between men and women in state-owned enterprises and private enterprises is 7:3,and the correlation between gender and class identity does not pass the significant test.Workers in private enterprises are younger,more dispersed,and age is positively correlated with its class identity.The educational background of workers in state-owned enterprises is significantly higher than that in private enterprises.There is a significant correlation between the educational background of workers in state-owned enterprises and their class identity.In the data of sample,the educational background of workers in private enterprises is negatively correlated with their class identity,but no significant test is passed.In terms of the characteristics of household registration,the workers of state-owned enterprises are mostly non-agriculture natives,the workers of private enterprises are mostly agriculture natives.The correlation between household registration status and class identity doesn't pass the significant test in both state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.The correlation between agricultural households and class identity is significant in the overall sample,and the class identity of workers with non-agricultural household is higher.The workers'household registration locations in state-owned enterprises are most in Prefecture-level cities,and that in private enterprises are most in rural areas.There is a negative correlation between the household registration locations and class identity in the sample data.The sample of state-owned enterprises passes the significance test,but that of private enterprises fails.In terms of political and economic characteristics,about half of workers in state-owned enterprises are Party members,and there is only 5.0% in private enterprises.There is a significant correlation between workers' political identity and class identity in the overall sample.The average class identity of Party members is higher than that of the masses.There is no significant correlation between workers' political identity and class identity in both state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.The average annual income of workers in state-owned enterprises is significantly higher than that of private enterprises,and there is a significant positive correlation between annual income and class identity.
