In junior high school chemistry teaching,multimedia technology with its own characteristics and advantages,has been more and more implemented.Multimedia technology can effectively assist teachers to deal with textbooks,compile multimedia courseware,create teaching scenarios suitable for students’ cognitive structure,simulate and demonstrate the material structure and chemical reaction mechanism of chemical knowledge,simulate chemical experiments,optimize the structure of chemical courses,break through the key and difficult points of teaching more efficiently,and promote the new.The implementation of curriculum reform.At present,the application of multimedia technology in the field of teaching is still in the primary stage of development,although it has achieved gratifying results,but the problems exposed in the teaching practice are obvious.For example,the application of multimedia technology in chemistry teaching lacks timeliness,chemistry teachers’ awareness of multimedia technology application is weak,multimedia teaching ability is insufficient,students’ ability to accept multimedia teaching is poor,and so on.Based on the teaching practice,the author combines years of teaching experience on the basis of previous research results;based on the theoretical foundations of constructivism theory,meaningful learning theory,achievement motivation theory,using research methods such as literature data method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.Some specific practical researches on the application of multimedia technology in junior high school chemistry teaching.It mainly discusses the influence of multimedia application of chemistry teaching on the concept of chemistry teaching,the content and structure of the curriculum,and the teaching process.It explores the practice in teaching,and combines the field investigation to analyze the misunderstandings of multimedia technology in the process of junior high school chemistry teaching from different angles.Through research,it puts forward practical suggestions to take advantage of the advantages and characteristics of multimedia technology.
