Research On The Influence Of Academic Self-Efficacy To Academic Masters' Academic Performance

The postgraduate education is a key stage to inspire students' research enthusiasm and cultivate students' research accomplishment,and cultivating academic masters' scientific research ability is a strong demand for building a national innovation system.However,the existing researches show that masters' scientific research capacity in our country is still insufficient.The masters' scientific research input and the existing level of scientific research capabilities are far from the required standards.At the same time,the important influence of academic self-efficacy on scientific research performance gradually attracts attention.For this reason,this paper introduces social cognition and work performance theory in the field of higher education,and builds academic self-efficacy and scientific research performance models for academic master postgraduates.It conducts empirical research on H-University's academic masters by SPSS22.0 and Amos.The research conclusions of this paper mainly include:First of all,on the basis of relevant studies on the connotation and structure of academic self-efficacy,this study uses literature review,simple interviews,and questionnaires to collect and summarize data.By using exploratory factor analysis and a series of analysis,the test method defines four dimensions of academic self-efficacy measurement for academic masters,which are the assumption-forming efficiency,problem-forming efficiency,scientific research implement efficiency,and presentation efficacy.At the same time,the measurement of academic performance not only stays in the results,but also uses the three-dimensional model of research attitude performance,research behavior performance,and research achievement performance.In addition,the measurement scales for academic self-efficacy and research performance formed in this study has good reliability and validity,laying the foundation for follow-up related research.Secondly,the overall level of academic self-efficacy of masters in H university is in average level.The lack of confidence in the formation of problems indicates that the academic masters need to improve the effect of research methods training and innovative training.The acquisition of scientific research items and training assistants to collect data with lower scores indicaes that there is still room for improvement in autonomy,enthusiasm and independence of participating in research activities.There are still deficiencies in identifying and reporting on the limitations and deficiencies of research,indicating the role of this study for future research,showing that the significance of their own research and the direction of the future are not understood enough.The academic master of H university has a serious attitude towards scientific research work,but takes a slightly less scientific research action than positive research attitude,and the achievement level of scientific research results is obviously lower than that of research attitude performance and research behavior performance.There are four reasons for this:(1)The excellent and perfect research and training environment has improved the academic self-efficacy of H university's master.(2)The primary level academic masters have participated in less core research works and have more supportive works,which affected the level of scientific research performance.(3)The achievement of scientific research results,which has also been affected by many other factors,is a long-term process.Therefore,some academic masters have a good attitude and positive action in scientific research while output of scientific research results is lower than the level of attitude and action.(4)The academic characteristics of academic masters have gradually diminished.Some academic masters who did not aim at research research are not serious about scientific research attitudes and scientific research.The behavior was not positive enough and the results of scientific research were insufficient.Thirdly,this paper uses SPSS and SEM quantitative analysis techniques and tools to make in-depth analysis of the theoretical models and assumptions proposed.The analysis confirms the following conclusions:The assumption-forming efficiency has a positive effect on the academic attitude performance and research behavior performance of academic masters,and then affect research achievement performance,the direct impact between assumption-forming efficiency and research achievement performance is not significant;problem-forming efficiency,scientific research implement efficiency have a positive impact on the academic master's research attitude,behavior,achievement performance;the presentation efficacy have a positive impact on the academic master's research behavior and achievement performance,but the effects of the presentation efficacy to research attitude performance are not significant.Based on the above analysis conclusions,this paper proposes research inspirations,it is an effective way to improve scientific research performance by strengthening academic self-efficacy;the key of improving academic self-efficacy is academic masters themselves;academic masters should strengthen self-management and actively participate in scientific research practice;schools and mentors should pay attention to the cultivation of academic self-efficacy of students.
